I'm giving this one star because the current overall average for this outlet is 4.2 stars, which is far too high. I waited too long to write this review, combining multiple issues into one. I've been an occasional customer to this particular outlet and honestly, they are super stingy with their veggies. They always give only a tiny pinch, and when you ask for more, they give you an even tinier pinch. I don't face this issue at any other Subway outlet islandwide. Furthermore, their shorthaired auntie seems to never put up her mask while handling food. I once saw her drop something (I never knew what) and then put it back into my sandwich. I didn't bother to confront her, but I had diarrhea afterwards. Today, I saw her (the shorthaired auntie) serve multiple customers without putting her mask on; it was just hanging at her chin. Their seating arrangement is also a bit awkward, as the tables are very close together, making it difficult to move chairs if you bring bags. I'm attaching a photo of the sandwich the 'ah-girl' made for me today, showing the tiny pinch of veggies. I will not visit this outlet unless I'm quite hungry and need to eat ASAP.

This is the skinniest Veggie Delite I've ever ordered from Subway. I've had this wrap all over Singapore, and nowhere is it as stingy as here. My husband said he even asked the staff to add more because there was even less at first. Sorry, but the Clementi staff should do better.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Clementi Mall Subway, and I will never be returning to this branch again. Subway is known for its customizable sandwiches, yet I was told today that everything in my order was "fixed" — the bread, the sauce, even the vegetables. I ordered the Smokey BBQ Beef Brisket, the exact same sandwich I’ve ordered at least 20 times at other outlets without any issue. At those branches, I’ve always been able to choose my bread, skip the sauces, and add my preferred vegetables. But today, I was told customization was not allowed — until I asked to add sliced mushrooms, which was suddenly okay. However, when I requested basic free vegetables like lettuce and cucumbers, I was told I could only add tomatoes and green peppers, and the staff even pointed at the promotional poster to prove their point. I don’t eat green peppers, so I ended up with only tomatoes. To make things worse, they almost added sauces without asking me, even though I’m on a diet and never take sauces — only salt and pepper. The inconsistency and rigidity shown by this branch is baffling. If other outlets can accommodate basic customization, why can’t this one? It feels unreasonably strict and completely out of line with the usual Subway experience.

Went on a Monday night and had to wait quite a while because they were prioritizing takeaway orders. I asked for tuna and falafel, and the price came to 11.7 SGD. I was shocked and checked the order. They said I had asked for 3 falafel, so they made it into a falafel sub or something. I didn't specify a number; I only said 'tuna and falafel,' and it seems they auto-translated it to something else. But a 6-inch ala carte for 11.7 SGD?! No matter how I calculate it, it doesn't add up. I was too tired and had waited too long that I didn't bother to argue. I won't go to this branch again.

Service is fast, and the seating space, though congested, is manageable. The food served was yummy. Overall, a good experience.

On the 10th of October at 7:15 pm, I visited the Clementi subway and found the service staff to be extremely patient, helpful, and friendly. I was a bit confused while ordering multiple sandwiches, but they didn't rush me and patiently waited for me to decide. The staff member at the bread station even offered to help me quickly prepare the sandwich that I had accidentally forgotten to order.

The new laksa pesto meal is worth trying. It tastes like local food. Elderly people love it.

Looking at the Friday crowd makes you wonder why it's popular: it's for the diet-conscious with bread, meat, and lots of vegetables. The lady always brings the food to my table as she knows I'm handicapped. Good service is what's important.

So impressed by the standard and quality of the cookies at Clementi today. These are the best cookies I've had in a long time. Usually, cookies are half-baked, undercooked, soggy, or soft, but today these were fully baked with generous chunks of macadamia! Kudos to the team on shift at 6pm
