As of today, 15/05/2025, 8:40 PM: A young staff member was preparing my dessert. At the end, he used his hand to remove a portion of Aiyu jelly that had spilled out of the cup and placed it into the dessert bowl right in front of him. I did tell him not to do this in front of customers. He then proceeded to remove that part using a spoon, but it was already done. I had expected him to redo it with a fresh portion, but he didn't, and I was too tired to make a fuss. At this moment, I'm just wondering about the cleanliness of your back-end food and ingredient handling, especially since I noticed many young part-timers working here. I hope your store will be more stringent with hygiene.

I recalled walking past this shop a few months ago and decided to give it a try today when I walked past again. I asked for something with taro, and they recommended Yours Taroly. I saw another similar taro item, and the staff told me the taro jelly was the same, but there were differences in other toppings. I decided to stick to the signature one to see if it was worth its categorization. I regretted spending the money on the dessert as soon as I had the first few mouthfuls. Firstly, I felt there was almost no taro taste; the taro in the jelly was too mild. I wasn't impressed with the dessert overall because it was dry. At the base, there was just a scoop of beancurd and grass jelly with no liquid inside – I've never had such a dry dessert before. They provided a small container with liquid, which I assumed was coconut milk. I added a bit, and it didn't taste as dry afterward. It was strange; even after mixing all the toppings, they didn't seem to complement each other. The taro cubes were quite a failure; they were rather hard, and I didn't enjoy chewing them at all. Overall, I was disappointed and won't try it again. There are better and cheaper options around this place.

I ordered items C2 and D1 from this PLQ branch on 28 Feb 2025, around 6:30 pm, for takeaway. However, I was utterly disappointed when I reached home to enjoy the dessert and realised that my C2 was missing the matcha jelly. I even searched throughout the whole cup, and indeed, the jelly was missing. I would not visit the shop again.

Horrible experience at the Tampines outlet. The auntie was super rude and aggressive for no reason, even though I had already changed my order to original because there was no matcha, despite it being on the menu. What's worse is the mochi waffle turned out to look like trash. I've bought it from other outlets before, and it's not supposed to look soggy and disfigured. What a waste of my $3.90 with such horrible customer service. Do not recommend at all.

Tried this new halal dessert place called Do Qoo (from the same folks behind Mr Bean) and I've deeply fallen in love with their Belgian Waffles!
If you enjoy Taiwanese-inspired desserts, you need to try this out. Pick your favourite base: grass jelly, soy pudding, or aiyu jelly and top it off with all kinds of fancy toppings.
You can also enjoy the usual beancurd with rice balls, pancakes, even cup corn, but please, please, please try their Belgian waffles and ADD MOCHI!

Had a pleasant experience dining at this halal-certified store launched by Mr Bean. The range of dessert options is wide, and the seasonal Lunar Treasures with taro jelly mooncake is both delicious and aesthetic. Tried the Loving Youth and warm ginger soup beancurd, and both were good too.
Their mochi waffles were also nicely crisp with a gooey mochi centre, which was super nice! The location is accessible, and the store was cozy for gatherings with family and friends.

If you like traditional desserts with a twist, this is the place to go! Overall, the taste is decent, but the price is on the high side. It caters to dessert lovers. If you're hungry or craving some good old-school desserts with a modern twist, come down already! I recommend going for the basic value set, which is enough for one. No need to upsize or add more.

Absolutely love Do Qoo 豆趣! Their drinks are consistently fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet — just the right balance. The soy milk is incredibly smooth and fragrant, and their creative menu always has something new to try. The staff are friendly and service is quick, even during peak hours. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys quality soy-based beverages and a healthier alternative to regular bubble tea. Will definitely come back again!
