Had a satisfying lunch at Tuk Tuk Cha (PLQ outlet)! We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was flavourful and well-portioned. The Thai Green Curry was rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, while the Tomyum Chicken Karaage had a tangy kick that paired well with the crispy chicken. The Gai Yang was juicy and tender, and so tasty with the E-Sarn dipping sauce.
For dessert, we shared the Thai Milk Tea Shibuya Toast. It was crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and indulgently sweet. The Thai Milk Tea and Thai Green Milk Tea were both smooth and refreshing.
A great spot for a hearty and value-for-money Thai meal. Will definitely be back for more!

Just had my little Thai street food moment here. It was affordable, flavorful, and honestly? I'm kinda obsessed!
I went for the TUK TUK SET – $10.9
Only at @payalebarquarter
Main + drink = a whole vibe.
Got 2 sets because why not?
Green curry paired with a refreshing Thai milk tea — creamy, spicy, and so comforting.
Tom yum chicken karaage rice bowl with Thai green oat milk tea — that perfect tangy kick + smooth, oat goodness.
Plus, I had to add a side of gai yang with e-sarn sauce because protein is life, and it’s fire. And to top it off? Triple kaya dip golden toast for that sweet, buttery finish.
I swear every bite was like a mini vacay to Thailand!
Honestly? 10/10, would definitely go again — my new go-to post-workout refuel.
Another Kopi Time
Outdoor seating at PLQ for this Thai cuisine. We like the slight tangy sauce over teriyaki chicken.
Outdoor seating at PLQ for this Thai cuisine. We liked the slightly tangy sauce over the teriyaki chicken. The beef was a bit tough for the beef pho. The glazed chicken wings, a finger food side, were tasty. We loved the refreshing teas we ordered, and on a hot day, the Thai tea ice cream dessert on toast was perfect. Great for a quick meal.

What we tried here today was:
Beef Boat Noodles ($9.90)
Rice noodles in a rich, beefy broth with generous portions of stewed brisket, sliced beef, and beef balls. Comforting and flavourful.
Teriyaki Chicken Karaage Ricebowl ($8.50)
Juicy chicken with a bright, tangy teriyaki glaze, served with cherry tomatoes, carrots, and a soft-boiled egg. I just love that it is not overly salty, as most teriyaki sauces are.
Glazed Chicken Wings (2 pcs for $5.00)
Perfectly glazed and satisfying as a side snack. So good, I wanted to order more! Comes with a nice Thai chilli sauce.
Thai Milk Tea Shibuya Toast $8.90
Perfect level of sweetness on lightly salted crispy toast. You can order this first, and when you're done with your meal, tell them to prepare it for you; it only takes about 5 minutes more.
Butterfly Pea Drink ($4) – Light, tangy, and refreshing.
Thai Milk Green Tea ($4) – A mellow, herbal twist on the classic favourite.
Great tasty food, fast, and very friendly service! Will come back again!
