Waited 30 minutes for my food. The food only came after asking the staff about it. The ice cream looked nothing like the picture, which seemed to show hand-scooped ice cream. Instead, they served cheap Magnolia ice cream that tasted like plastic. I will never come here again.

Oh man, I don't expect too much from affordable food chains, but firstly, the average waiting time for food is about a minimum of 35-40 minutes, even for sides. I thought it was a one-time thing, but no, I came twice and both times were the same.
Ordered BYOC the first time and the popcorn chicken tasted smelly? Like not fresh, I don't know how to explain it, but a '臭味' (chòu wèi - bad smell) taste.
Then the second time I came, I ordered the chicken cutlet. My goodness, was it as hard as a rock. It was heavily overcooked, and I couldn't even bite onto some parts of the skin. Swear I almost broke a tooth, man 😩.
Overall, will I come back? Maybe like one last time to see how the food and wait time is. But other than that, I've had bad experiences at this newly opened store.
Dessert was also inconsistent. I initially thought it would have been their saving grace for today's disheartening meal because the first few times dessert was good; brownie warm and soft, ice cream well-scooped. But the second time... it brought me to utter disappointment. The brownie was room temperature/cold and hard... Feeling sad as I type this and eat the cold brownie that was once warm and nice 😭. Why today is everything so hard?
Picture is what I did not want to finish because of the ROCK HARD skin of the chicken 😩.

This was my first time at the Seletar Mall branch, which opened a few weeks prior. The place has a more casual ambience with affordable pricing. I had the medium-rare steak and I must say it was impressively good – crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My daughters had the salted egg pasta and the chicken n chicken. The drinks were ice lemon tea, which was rather bland though. Service, on the other hand, was not to my expectation. I had wanted to clarify that they were not serving only corn as a side dish (for my granddaughter). I asked the staff when I was paying at the cashier, and the way she responded was rather harsh. She simply said "Huh!" then a flat "no." I was taken aback by her rudeness, such a response with no eye contact. I may visit again, probably try another branch, but I'm not sure. Just wanted to share my experience.

Eighteen Chefs @ Seletar Mall Review
We originally intended to dine at COLLIN’s, but it turned out to be Eighteen Chefs. Not wanting to disappoint everyone, we decided to stay—though unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant.
From the start, service was lacking. Both the manager and assistant manager were walking around without paying attention to diners, and when we tried to place our order via the app, it was confusing and frustrating. As first-time users, we expected at least some guidance, but no staff came forward to help. At one point, we honestly felt like walking out.
We eventually managed to order the DIY Pasta, Grilled Chicken Chop, and Black Pepper Steak. Each main course came with a free drink—a detail even the manager seemed unaware of. Still, it was a small but pleasant surprise.
Sadly, the overall dining environment was not enjoyable. The restaurant was noisy, had a lingering smell, and the poor service overshadowed the food. We ended up having a quick dinner and left soon after.
For us, this visit was a disappointment, and it’s unlikely we’ll be returning anytime soon.

Came by the door at 8:55pm. The person at the door offered no greeting and no smile. I simply asked for the menu to have a look. The response was, “We’re closed.” Seriously?! I patiently waited to check if I needed to place a booking if I wished to come. The waiter had to go to a long-haired lady at the back counter. She seemed annoyed and irritated, raising her voice at the waiter and telling him to wait. I was interested to try this place, but now I would never step foot inside this establishment that lacks basic manners and respect. If you hate working in hospitality, find another job.
