The food was rather disappointing; only the green curry was acceptable. The filling for the stuffed wings and the fried fish slices with black sauce were unappetising. The vegetables were very plain.

The pineapple fried rice was covered with oil, and the chicken in the Tom Yum Soup Noodles was very tough. The ingredients did not look fresh or appetising.

I like the location; it's not too busy. I come here often and enjoy their kra pao chicken, especially since there's an option for extra spicy, and it's genuinely spicy! Love it, it's my favourite Thai food. The rice, however, was often stale :( It seemed like it had been left out for a while or was from a previous day's batch.
Oh, and there was only one waitress for the whole place! So understaffed.

Firstly, the young, bespectacled female staff with green hair soured the entire takeaway experience. It was a Foodpanda self-pickup order, and I was alerted 10 minutes prior that my order would be ready for collection. I was standing just outside the shop when this staff member asked me for the pickup number. When I stepped in, I was told my order wasn't ready and was short of one dish. After waiting another 10 minutes, I went back in and saw the same white plastic bag – three rectangular containers and one round container – in exactly the same state as when I asked earlier if that was my order. NOW she said yes, that's your order. When I asked her about it, she told me no, it wasn't complete, and was short of one dish. There was zero shortfall; the completed order had been left unattended for 10 minutes. If I hadn't gone back in, it could have been there for an eternity. To top it off, I asked for belacan chili, and she rudely replied with a single word: 'NO.' It felt like a slap in the face, without even offering an apology for the horrible service rendered or suggesting alternative chili options. Best of all, the glutinous rice with mango was stacked together with the hot soup, fried chicken with basil, and panang prawn. Coconut mixed with heat and hot food will turn bad; that's already a huge red flag of 'I don't give a damn' about whether your food turns bad. When I got home and opened the food, I had another heart attack. Look at the chicken with basil leaf – the layer of oil! The supposedly six prawns were actually only four, with two missing. The merchant or Foodpanda had better update the photos advertised on the Foodpanda platform. The Seafood Tom Yum soup (chili paste) was not only very oily but pathetic in ingredients. I'm appalled at the state I received the soup. Three fish slices, two small sotongs (very rubbery texture), two tiny frozen prawns, and a lot of oyster mushrooms – it felt more like a vegetarian Tom Yum soup! Lastly, the glutinous rice tasted hard, and worse, the grains felt like they weren't fully cooked. I am thankful that the only thing okay was the taste of all the food. But otherwise, nothing else will deserve a second patronage ever.

One of the best Thai food places I've been to in Singapore so far. The food was good! Especially the fish; I usually don't really like fish, but this was really fresh and crispy. The sauce was very good too. The green curry was very fragrant and the beef was tender, very flavourful and creamy. Their clear tom yam has so many ingredients in it, and the flavour was fantastic – spicy and sour enough. Even the stuffed chicken wings were very good. The desserts are good, not too sweet, and very enjoyable, especially the taco, mango sticky rice, tapioca, and tang yuan. Totally worth coming!

Came here for some supermarket shopping and this is just outside NTUC, so why not. It helps that it's halal too, as we have our helper with us. Not too crowded on a weekend lunchtime. The food is decent in quality and price. Liked the desserts the most. Good service.

A nice, cosy place. Two staff were working on the floor, but the male staff was very nice and helpful despite the busy Sunday business hours.
The food portions are generally plentiful, so much so that we were unable to finish. It's really worth the money. Seating is a bit limited, but otherwise, the location is air-conditioned and comfortable.

We love this Thai food outlet with its affordable dinner set; best of all, no GST or service charge. We chose the $49.90 set and didn’t regret our decision. The red curry with fresh seafood ingredients paired well with white rice, with the right amount of spiciness. The basil fried fish was crispy and spiced with lots of basil. We loved the prawn cake best; it was crispy and well seasoned. The sweet and sour pork meat was a bit tough, while the mixed vegetables were delightfully fresh.

I was craving some good Thai food, and Jai Siam sounded perfect since it's right next to the NTUC (super convenient!).
The food was decent, don't get me wrong. But for the price, I was expecting a bit more.
Maybe we were just extra hungry, but the portions seemed a tad on the small side compared to what we were expecting. Still tasty though! Just gotta factor that in next time we decide on Thai for lunch.
Note: My photos are zoomed in.

Portion Patrol: I might have to do some recon on reviews beforehand to see if portion sizes are consistently on the smaller side.
Ask about upsizing options! Some restaurants might offer a bigger portion for a small additional cost.
