Mech Goki
Ordered the Chashu Ramen. This is just like Ajisen, but worse. It's almost impressive how subpar this dish is. The broth is light on flavor, the noodles are stiff and tasteless, and the chashu is just a chunk of cooked meat, not a slice. The only thing passable is the egg.

Beer curry rice for $14, but the portion is like a $5 plate. Look at the pictures. A 1-2cm thick layer of food. Miserable...

Even though it was a promotion, it's not worth it at all. The picture and the actual food were different, and it's definitely not worth $11. They didn't even provide a straw for the drink, and there was only a little bit of minced meat.

They are severely understaffed. Only one person was on the floor to attend to customer requests on a Friday night. Their "exclusive deal" shown in the photo did not state that it only ended at 5 PM, which is VERY SCAMMY. It wasn't mentioned on the banner either. I brought this up to them, but the server just took away the menu without even apologising. Thus, it was very misleading. They also included a very tiny piece of cabbage with the chicken, which did not match the photo. The pricing is so-so. They did provide ban chan, which justified the pricing a bit. However, with the added service charge (and no proper service – good luck trying to catch a server), it's not worth it. Skip this place. There are many other better Japanese restaurants in the area (Check out PLQ instead).

Go-to spot for affordable and tasty BBQ. The meat is well-marinated, super easy to grill, and really flavourful. Portions are decent, and the sides go well with the meal. Service is fast and friendly too.

Clean and comfortable seating. The kid's meal selection was limited, but there were quite a few student meal options at a special price. The food was okay. Lots of set meals and special lunch deals were available. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Went to Yakiniku Shokudo at SingPost Centre and had a really good meal. The meat was fresh and tasty, and grilling it myself made it fun. I ordered one of the set meals — it came with rice, soup, and some sides, all quite satisfying. The place is clean, and the service was friendly and fast. Prices are quite reasonable too. It's a great spot if you’re looking for a quick and tasty yakiniku meal. Would definitely come back again!
