First time trying out Texas Chicken. The original chicken, drum and thigh, is really quite good. Crispy but dry, not oily at all, and the meat is tender and juicy. Just wished that it's bigger in size. The chicken bolognese pasta was bad. It wasn't even warm at room temperature, the sauce was pathetic and felt like 7-11 instant pasta that was microwaved an hour ago. Maybe I should just stick to chicken and fries.

I was here today, September 3rd, around 10-10:45 PM. I ordered your new Habanero Honey Burger and was excited to try it. Upon my first bite, it was cold and the patty wasn't really cooked, still pinkish and hard. I gave feedback to the counter crew, and he replaced it for me within a minute. It was so fast that it seemed like he didn't prepare a fresh one. When I ate the replacement, the bun was extremely hot and the sauce was all over, looking like your staff heated it in the microwave. I forced myself to eat it until about halfway, and again the patty tasted different – pinkish and hard. The second time around, I decided to speak to the manager. Your staff told me, 'The manager went home already.' So, is no one handling the store when you're operating 24 hours? Kindly retrain your crew. When a customer returns a burger, they should be given a new one, not just one heated up in the microwave. Kindly get back to me ASAP. Thanks.

I went there to give it a try with the 99 cents for 2 PC set combo on their mobile app. It was a one-time promo for first-time installers of the Texas Chicken app.
I added a 60 cents biscuit to the order and made payment. But when I collected my order at the counter, I was told the promotion had expired and I only received my biscuit.
Confused, I checked the app, and it said the 99 cents promo was redeemed on the same day.
I showed this to the cashier, but she argued that I didn't pay 99 cents for it, so I wouldn't get the set. She showed me the receipt stating I only paid 60 cents for the biscuit.
I didn't back down. To me, if the offer was expired, it should not have shown as USED. In fact, the app showed it expired on 9 Oct. After raising my voice, the cashier finally relented and gave me the set in an irritated manner. She told me I didn't need to raise my voice. I explained to her that I had already tried logically explaining the issue, but she claimed no fault, and this was the only way.
I could have walked away with just a biscuit and not come back. But I'd rather have the chicken to eat and never return again.
So, go fix that app, man. It's misleading.

Texas Chicken is one of my favourites, and I'm happy to know they've opened a store near my office after a long time. Enjoying Texas Chicken for lunch, the staff here are very friendly and helpful, with a good range of items to munch on! Rinne, the lobby assistance manager, and Dance are really good at their jobs!
