I threw the whole box of donuts away. The sugar level was ridiculously high. I think the baker added another 1kg of sugar into the dough. This sweetness is so tragic.

On 16 May, I was at Krispy Kreme at Great World. I was shocked when the staff presented me with a bill of $35 for 10 doughnuts. When I inquired, she stated that the price was $3.50 regardless of the doughnut type. I had purchased from other branches before, but I don't recall paying so much. I tried to find a menu with prices online, but there wasn't any on Google. I told myself I would not buy from Krispy Kreme again. Yesterday, I was at Vivocity and chanced upon another branch. This time, they had a menu with prices displayed. The plain doughnuts were $2.60 and the assorted ones were $2.95. Does this mean I was overcharged for everything? I no longer have the receipt, but I would like to warn all customers to check the prices before buying, especially when they are not displayed. Beware.

The dough was squishy and packed full of sugar. I had the chocolate donut and I couldn’t taste anything but sugar. Sugar is cheap, but there's no need to use so much of it

Horrible! They are open at 10:30 am. I arrived at 10:39 am and saw that the crew wasn’t done opening the store. Many items were still not displayed. I asked if I could order because I was rushing for work and didn't have time to wait. I specifically came a little after 10:30 am so that by the time I ordered, it would be ready for me to just grab and leave. She told me to wait because she wasn’t done preparing and displaying the donuts. To be honest, that’s not my problem; if you state your opening time is 10:30 am, you should be ready to serve customers by then! I still waited because it was too early to get upset. By 10:45 am, I approached her again and asked if I could order. She said she wasn’t done yet! I explained I was rushing for work and had specifically excused myself to buy these donuts as a request from our birthday celebrant. Your opening is 10:30 am, you should be ready by then. Please see the attached receipt; I was served at 10:45 am! I waited standing there for more than 10 minutes, watching her open the store. Sorry, but this is unacceptable!

It was my first time trying the famous donut! While it's a bit pricey, it's worth a try for classic flavours like original and strawberry. I even brought half a dozen back to HK. Don't eat too much though.

Original Glazed Still Reigns Supreme I’ve tried plenty of flavors, but I always come back to the Original Glazed. That thin glaze might look simple, but it’s perfectly done—sweet but never too much. Every bite goes down easy. What gets me the most is the texture: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside—like biting into a cloud. Best enjoyed warm, but still amazing even when cooled. No flashy fillings or gimmicks, just pure, solid goodness. Simple, but seriously satisfying. The only downside? It’s pricier than most donut brands. But for that perfect bite, I’d say it’s worth the splurge. Final Thoughts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re wondering whether Krispy Kreme is worth trying, my advice is: don’t overthink it—just get the Original. The other flavors are fun, but this classic will always be my No.1.

Love KK Doughnuts... But minus 1 star as the place was undermanned during my visit. Only one staff member was handling orders, the cashier, and making coffee!

I love Krispy Kreme and have always been a fan. It's a tad sweet, but perhaps the best comfort snack when you're craving something sugary. Unfortunately, the staff at this branch always seems to be on a break. It's very frustrating when you're waiting and no one appears to be around after the stipulated time!
