Ordered the Halloween donuts via Foodpanda this morning before 10 am for collection at 5:30 pm. The order was accepted until 5 pm, but then an email arrived stating the order was cancelled because the items were out of stock. I seriously don't understand the point of setting a collection time if the items aren't going to be packed earlier. Now I have a mini party later, and the kids were so looking forward to these donuts, only to be utterly disappointed!

I wanted to buy 4 donuts to be put in a box at 2:30 PM today. The staff member, Natalie, told me I needed to buy 6 donuts to get a box. I offered to pay for the box. She didn't say anything until I asked her the cost of the paper box, which she said was $1. I was taken aback because it doesn't make sense for a paper box to cost $1. Perhaps I am mistaken. However, what I was most disappointed and shocked by was her indifference, implying a 'take it or leave it' attitude. I've never encountered such a staff member from Krispy Kreme at other branches. Given this poor customer service, I choose to forgo this donut place.

For people with a sweet tooth, this is definitely a delight! Personally, I prefer less sweet items, so this was a bit too much for me. Nevertheless, the doughnuts have a rich flavour and a thick texture. One bite, and you can taste all the sweetness and cream.

My sister scheduled a Deliveroo order for Monday morning, between 10:30 am and 11 am. On Monday morning, Priscilla called to inform us that the delivery would be delayed because the donut delivery to the store was running late, only arriving at 10:45 am. She mentioned she would personally deliver it at 11 am. After I shared that the donuts were meant to thank the ward for taking care of my recently deceased father, she said she would also call my sister to let her know when the donuts arrived, for assurance.
Instead of calling, Priscilla texted my sister at 11:04 am, stating that the donut delivery to the store would only be done at 12 pm, and subsequently, the delivery to the ward could only be done between 12:30 pm and 12:45 pm. This was absolutely disappointing, as my sister and I needed to be at the wake.
After another phone call, Priscilla agreed to do the delivery personally to the ward. Fingers crossed, she can keep her promise today.

Still my favourite donut, and worth the calories. One original glazed donut is about the same as Ann's original pretzel, but this is definitely better to indulge in.
