Mee Rebus Chicken Delight
from Ma-mum to go
at T1 arrival.
When you return to SG in the unearthly hours and desire some local tastes, this shop is open 24 hours and has quite a good offering.
Mee rebus is quite shiok – spicy, creamy, and slightly sour with the lime. It's pricey, but considering the time and place, it's still worth it.

Was quite happy to see this little kiosk/cafe when I arrived at the Arrival Hall at almost 4 am after catching a late flight. It was the only food place available, and while it wasn't mind-blowingly fantastic, it was definitely comforting. Great for those arriving late (or early) at T1! There were also sitting areas available, though a little cramped (but hey, no complaints for a to-go place; happy there were seats).
I tried the Dry Laksa with Barley and the Otah Toast Set with two soft-boiled eggs, and both were alright. The otah was a little sour (though not spoiled, just the way it's made), and the toast was a bit thick, but overall still pretty nice. The dry laksa was unique and interesting, and the soft-boiled eggs were done as expected.
Communication with the staff was okay, but we asked a couple of questions and there was some confusion (staff didn't seem local). However, it wasn't anything too frustrating or a big deal. I'll be back, especially if I have a late flight arriving!

Beef Brisket and tendon dry laksa $7.50, not a common dish. Quite impressed with the beef pieces and tendon. The dry laksa seemed to be just a less soupy version of the normal laksa but was still flavourful.
Rendang chicken dry laksa $7.50 was nice too.
Can add a cold drink for $2.20.
Except for the cheap Styrofoam food box, I would say that the spices hit the right notes. Happy with the price, quality, and quantity. Kaffe&Toast does have the creed.

It satisfied my hunger while I was waiting for my children's arrival flight at T1 Arrival Hall in the wee hours of the morning. The Mee Rebus was piping hot and delicious. The milk tea was also good. The staff automatically provided chopsticks and spoons. The service was stoic but efficient. This food kiosk serves its purpose well.
