Ordered a 3-piece chicken a la carte, but couldn't choose chicken thighs for all pieces. Only one out of three could be chicken thighs, which is ridiculous since I bought it a la carte. The service from the receptionist lady was quite bad. I waited 30 minutes for the chicken. Then, the plastic bag handle given to me was stained with sauce. I asked her to change it for me, and she did, but the new one was also stained in the same place. I asked her to change it again, but she refused and just wiped it with a cloth, yet there was still a sauce stain. Then she gave some lame excuse.

Had the $17.90 cheesy chicken hotplate. It only came with 4 chicken pieces and spiral fries with cheese for $17.90, which was totally not worth the money. The chicken was red inside, and the fries were over-fried. The only consolation was that the root beer was nice. Otherwise, I won't be getting this dish again.

I just want to give a big shoutout to Fely, the manager at Nene Chicken Tampines. Her warm hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care for customers truly make a difference. From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us with a bright smile and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and served promptly—but what really stood out was the amazing customer service. Fely went out of her way to accommodate our requests and checked in with us to ensure we were satisfied. It's rare to meet a manager who puts so much heart into their work.

I ordered their cheapest army stew ($7.90 ala carte) and added Set C - a drink and fried chicken skin (for another $5).
Total $12.90
The basic army stew consists of soup, egg, cheese, noodles, hotdogs, and a few mushrooms.
It's hard to find a yummy army stew in a mall at this price. Value for money! 划算
I'm not a big fan of their wings, but this army stew at this price makes it one of my go-to places! Worth trying, quite a decent portion too.
