Mediocre tasting fare with pretty bad service. The Nasi Lemak tastes worse than those in Curry Times and elsewhere. The Nasi Lemak Sando tasted horrible with its awful sambal chilli. The Prata is crispy with a nice curry, and the egg Hor Fun is quite delicious with wok hei.

Visited on Vesak Day holiday, 12 May 2025 at about 11:45 am. The white coffee served was made from an instant mix, as confirmed by the staff himself at the counter when I made payment. They apparently no longer brew coffee in-house. This should have been made known upfront. The staff were unfriendly overall.

It's a place that gets my malaysia craving fixed 😋 Went there twice. Service is fast and attentive.

It's a place that satisfies my Malaysian cravings. I've been there twice. The service is fast and attentive. I've tried their Ipoh hor fun soup and the dry version, along with a plate of steamed chicken. Of course, you can't compare them to authentic Ipoh hor fun. However, I always leave with a satisfied tummy.

The service and food were just awful. The drink looked nice but tasted like nothing, the belachan kangkung was way too spicy, and the fu chuk had a strong oil smell. The Hainanese chicken cutlet, which I always order at PappaRich, was rock hard, and the fries were soggy. To make things worse, the service was incredibly disappointing. The staff were chatting among themselves, and one of them was even drinking water at the front counter. On top of that, they asked us to give up our table (a 4-person table for just the two of us) for another group that came in after us. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we were halfway through our meal when we had to scramble to pack up our belongings (our bags and phones were on the other side of the table). There was also a guy (wearing glasses) who was speaking super loudly to customers, but I noticed he didn’t do the same with his colleagues. We will never return to PappaRich again.

Taste: Had high expectations after seeing the reviews but was quite disappointed. The taste is so-so considering the long queue and price. The Nasi Lemak's portion is big, but the rice has no flavour, with a whopping price of $17++. The popular curry chicken noodle's presentation is good, but the soup is quite watery. The fried chicken skin is very average, definitely not worth the calories. Very long wait to sit in, but the serving is super fast. Definitely not worth the price, $20+ per person for average Malaysian street food?

Came here twice with family. The laksa here is superb. All other dishes were also well made, with authentic taste! It's a good place to hang out and try Singaporean food. The restaurant is situated in the shopping mall and is cooling, good for people who want to eat in a comfortable environment. It carries all sorts of must-try Singaporean dishes. A great place to dine-in for foreigners and locals alike!

The assam laksa here is not bad — flavourful and comforting. The food overall gives off a homely taste, like something you'd have back at home. Worth a try if you're nearby.

I had my best curry kway teow here (for now!). The prawn beancurd fritters were pathetic, though. It's not my first time having lunch here, but it's my first time ordering these. My regular orders include satay and barley drink. I don't have other recommendations that I hugely like. But thank you for serving us!

We prefer this outlet as their food is better and more consistent. My partner commented their iced Cham is the best in town. My kid loves their Naan. Service today was great, considering the crowd. We also like their environment; it has good space and comfortable seats.
