The quality of the food was not up to expectation. The beef rendang sauce was too diluted, and the beef came diced instead of in chunks (as shown in the menu). The sambal prawn was very small, and the quantity was little. Two good things were the ambience and service. The waitress was prompt in clearing the table.

Service is slow, and the food is overpriced. For the same quality of food, it can be found at a lower price elsewhere. Seating is separated between outdoor and indoor. Outdoor seating is noisy while the indoor seating is cozy. However, the staff responds faster to outdoor seating than indoor seating.

I'm quite disappointed with my order. I ordered a nasi lemak with beef rendang, 6 pieces of satay, and teh tarik with milk. Let's start with the teh tarik; it is pretty minuscule for the price. To make matters worse, it tasted similar to ones you can get from hawker centres. For the price of one cup, you could get three cups with twice the volume. Next, let's talk about the nasi lemak. The beef rendang was hard and rubbery. The ikan bilis were very salty. Beyond that, it was like any typical nasi lemak; nothing really special about it. Finally, I enjoyed the satay the best of all. I have only one complaint about it: the sauce bowl was too small. I had to use a spoon to get the sauce onto the satay. Otherwise, I would only be able to dip the top third of the stick into the sauce. All in all, it felt like I was paying for cinema-quality food at cinema prices.

It's pretty good food. Would give 4 stars but not for the the price. Not sure what is the hype on it

The food is pretty good. I would give it 4 stars, but not for the price. I'm not sure what the hype is about its food – the quality is just okay. The naan is essentially French bread with curry (though it's quite good), and the nasi lemak is alright, nothing out of the ordinary. However, I found the soy milk to be quite strange; I would stick to their signature coffee instead.

The food tastes good and has an authentic flavour. The price is affordable, not cheap but reasonable, with big portions. I had the laksa, which was good but slightly too sweet for me. The nasi lemak was the bomb – a super portion with great condiments and delicious taste. The KL Hokkien fried noodle (without big prawns) was as good as it gets. Food preparation was fast during dinner hour, and the food was still warm. Recommended for all Malaysians who can't go home right now.

PappaRich restaurants can be found at many locations in Singapore and has always been a good choice for anyone looking to sample Malaysian/Singaporean local dishes. There are a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and vegetarian options are available as well. This outlet is pretty quiet compared to others, and the food is pretty well done. It's good for gatherings and a chat, as they also serve decent local-style beverages.

Good Asian food. Ordered beef rendang nasi lemak; the chilli was superb, and the beef rendang had a unique fragrance. The coffee is good too, just that the cuppa size is a bit small. Prices are reasonable during lunch hour offerings until 3 pm on weekdays. Business is good during lunch and dinner, so you may have to wait. Staff are friendly and service is good.

Good service by the staff, and the food was above average. I'd recommend having satay here as the chicken meat was rather tender and flavourful.
