The quality of the food was not up to expectation. The beef rendang sauce was too diluted, and the beef came diced instead of in chunks (as shown in the menu). The sambal prawn was very small, and the quantity was little. Two good things were the ambience and service. The waitress was prompt in clearing the table.

I thought it was just me, but scrolling through the reviews, I can confirm they indeed have rude service. Now, you can imagine from my picture the way they brought my laksa – the soup left so many marks around the bowl, it almost spilled. In terms of price, this very basic laksa cost almost SGD17 without any beverage. Not recommended until they fix their service.

Mediocre tasting fare with pretty bad service. The Nasi Lemak tastes worse than those in Curry Times and elsewhere. The Nasi Lemak Sando tasted horrible with its awful sambal chilli. The Prata is crispy with a nice curry, and the egg Hor Fun is quite delicious with wok hei.

Visited on Vesak Day holiday, 12 May 2025 at about 11:45 am. The white coffee served was made from an instant mix, as confirmed by the staff himself at the counter when I made payment. They apparently no longer brew coffee in-house. This should have been made known upfront. The staff were unfriendly overall.

Visited this restaurant around 2pm. There wasn't much of a crowd, so there were plenty of seats available. Sean helped us, and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He even suggested seats that would be comfortable for my group. We ordered two different kinds of chicken rice, and both tasted great. Overall, it was a surprisingly pleasant visit.

The food was enjoyable, with everything cooked well and full of flavor. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the service from Shirley. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude stood out, making the meal even more memorable. I'd happily return for the great food and even better hospitality.

We had an enjoyable dinner at PappaRich at Changi Airport Terminal 2. The service was okay, and the food arrived within minutes after ordering. All the dishes we ordered were good, except for the Four Heavenly King (stir-fried eggplant/brinjal, long beans, okra/lady fingers, and petai) in belacan paste. The server did not inform us that they would serve only three vegetables as they had run out of petai. I wish they had the courtesy to inform us and let us decide if we were happy with "3 Heavenly Kings" instead. When we inquired, the waiter explained that normally, if the kitchen runs out of one item, they provide more of another to compensate. I don't think this is the right way to do business. Will they one day serve us a "2 Heavenly Kings"? Even though the food was satisfactory, I hope the kitchen and front-line staff can work together to provide a good dining experience for diners.

An unassuming chain restaurant nestled within a stretch of eateries serving heartwarming Nanyang cuisine. The food offers a lot of variety for you to choose from. Surprisingly, I loved the chicken rice; everything was well done for this dish. Happy to have it back in Singapore. For the roti canai with curry, I wished the curry gravy was a bit more watery, which would make dipping easier. However, I'm glad they allowed us to have more gravy, as the initial serving was too little. Pleasantly surprised, the kaya toast was also well done with a good spread of butter that elevated the whole deliciousness of the dish. The staff are friendly and made me feel like the auntie who lived next door. I'd love to go back again anytime. The whole experience, especially after returning to SG, made me feel like I am home.
