Came for lunch, but left with only lunch. Special mention to that rude auntie behind the counter.
Horrible waiting time as we waited 45 minutes for our food, despite there being no lunch crowd when we initially arrived. Minimal explanation was given, and no updates were provided on when we would receive our lunch.
We ordered via QR code, made payment, and received our e-receipt, but the food didn't arrive after 30 minutes. We asked a waiter and other staff for updates but received vague replies like 'the place is experiencing high volume' and 'it hasn't appeared in the system.' One of the most triggering things was seeing people who arrived later than us receive their food first, while we were left with a completely empty table.
One particular auntie behind the counter (short hair and black uniform) rudely told me not to come to the counter and ask them. She said they were preparing the food and mentioned something about our food not showing up on their screens (her tone was just bad overall).
If I don't ask her, who should I ask? I asked the waiter, who told me to ask the counter. I asked the counter, and the auntie said not to come to the counter.
After 45 minutes, the assistant manager, Angela, came in to save the day. She prepared our food for takeaway almost instantly and apologized profusely.
You all should appreciate and thank Angela for holding the fort; otherwise, we would have been incredibly pissed about the bad service and attitude we received.
The least the other staff could have done was help us check if our order was received when we asked, but it wasn't done. It seems they were just shirking responsibility by displaying an 'idk' vibe and redirecting us to other staff instead.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this outlet. The staff member at the counter (a lady in a black shirt, possibly named Angela) was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of assisting politely, her tone and attitude made me feel very unwelcome. As a customer, I believe basic courtesy and respect should be shown. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I hope the management will look into improving service standards. Additionally, she should be more respectful towards her colleagues too.

Great products, a shame about the service and dining experience. If there isn't even a standard greeting, how can you expect staff to be treated with basic respect? I didn't even feel compelled to say thank you.

The food is good, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The downside is the staff. There was a long queue outside during lunch on Saturday, and I noticed there were so many empty tables. No staff came to check on the queue. My husband took the initiative to ask about the queue and usher people to their tables. Dear staff, I understand you might feel you have a better place to be, or that the job is beneath you, or that you are waiting for a job offer elsewhere. Looking down all the time to avoid looking at the queue means fewer customers, which means less work? Do remember that if the business shuts down, you won't have a job!

I am very disappointed with the service at this outlet. I brought my 6-year-old kids for dinner today. We ordered the kid's meal with chicken, but the chicken came with black pepper. I just friendly told the front desk lady in the black shirt. She was very rude and asked if they didn't cook it with black pepper, it came with something else?? Hello! Your company serves kid's meals to children below 7 years old! How many kids can accept the taste of black pepper?!

Enjoying another Saturday night dinner at AMK Hub's Pepper Lunch. We're ordering the Ramadan Special sets for our group of four. The set includes a meat trio, strip loin steak, jumbo beef pepper, and teriyaki chicken with egg. This is accompanied by either jasmine rice or cooked rice. We also received 4 free-flow drinks to choose from. Lastly, we were able to take away 2 dishes of marinated beef. All this was achieved with $100 Pepper Lunch vouchers. Simply irresistible!

A fun experience getting your meal ingredients on a hot plate and cooking up your fried rice yourself. I got the salmon one and it was very good, with the right amount of food. The food was served pretty quickly. I would eat here again.

Pretty reasonable set prices here. The concept of cooking your own meals on the hotplates is quite an interesting DIY experience. Basically, you add the sauces and stir everything well, making sure the meats are thoroughly cooked. However, this is also the downside. The seafood and chicken are cooked okay, but the beef tends to go from raw to cooked to overcooked as you eat progressively, and it turns rather tough. Just make sure you eat fast, and it should be fine, I guess. Oh, everything has a peppery tinge, which can be slightly spicy for kids. Sides of mashed potatoes and dessert of Häagen-Dazs ice cream are not bad. Service is great and fast, commendable. Due to the hotplate, the place can be smokey though, so your clothes will smell a bit. Overall, not bad, can eat lah!

I've tried Pepper Lunch at a few places, but I felt this outlet didn't offer enough quality or quantity for the price charged. I wanted to try the newly added Broccoli and Mushroom Pepper Rice, but the mushrooms weren't cooked enough on the hot teppan (the oyster mushrooms were cut a bit thick), so I didn't enjoy it fully. On the other hand, my husband had the Salmon and Chicken from the premium section with additional broccoli, and he enjoyed it. We also had the soup of the day, which was Mushroom Soup. It tasted okay, nothing great, and it was a bit cold. Overall, I'd like to visit again and try other items at this outlet. Cheers :)
