Was at Tampines Mall this morning. I asked for 2 pieces of sugar roll and the staff pulled a long face and banged things around. What kind of attitude is that? If you're not happy, please don't work here, because I'm here to buy cakes, not to see your attitude. Really pissed off.

I had a very bad experience with one of the staff members at the counter, Rehana. She spoke to me in a very rude manner. Initially, I ordered three sugar rolls, but within a minute, I changed my order to two sugar rolls and one chocolate roll. Despite not having paid yet, she raised her voice and insisted that I pay for four sugar rolls because she had already prepared them.

The customer service by Jeerix was very poor. She was rude and had an unpleasant demeanor. I will be emailing management for compensation. I do not deserve this treatment; she made my day start badly.

The Chicken Pie Voucher was extended for one more month. I did not see any Chicken Pie in the store. The shop said I could redeem a Chicken Potato Turnover (selling at $3), so I did. It was so bland. Today, I saw at the Waterway branch that it was on special for $1.80. I feel so cheated. Did Polar stop producing Chicken Pie? Please provide clear instructions.

I had a $20 voucher and bought $20 worth of items. Their curry puff is nicer than their pies. If I ever have a $20 voucher to buy Polar stuff, I will go for their curry puffs. I also saw a review that said their otah puff is good. Their sugar rolls are usually what I buy, and they're a good sweet treat, although prices have increased from $1.10 to $1.30. I bought the last pineapple almond tart at $1.70, but when I came back and checked, I realized they forgot to pack it. I will head back and inform them the next time I'm at the mall.

Every time I want to purchase items from Polar, Jeerix happens to be there. She's direct and efficient, with no hassle at all. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews of her.

I called to inquire about the 1-for-1 sugar roll voucher. The Bedok Mall outlet had already sold out. I simply wanted to check before heading down to purchase it. The staff member who handled the call was nice and polite.

There were '3 pastries for $5.50' promotions on some evenings, but by that time, usually only the chicken potato turnover was left, which my mum likes. One time I bought her the mushroom chicken ones, and she liked them better. Personally, I'm not into flaky pastries, but I do like their fillings. If the puffs had more filling, I would buy them more often for myself. I read on their Instagram page that they are facing some supply chain problems caused by flooding and will not be able to sell everything on the menu for a couple of months or until repairs are completed. I feel really sad for them because they are associated with many Singaporeans' childhood memories. Back when I still ate sweet things, their almond tarts were my favourite. Anyway, some of what they can sell now will be at a discounted price, including the chicken potato or chicken mushroom turnovers, so I think I would show my support and get them for mum from time to time. I hope all will be resolved soon!

I ordered a tiramisu cake for my husband's birthday. The taste was okay, but not authentic tiramisu. Overall, the cake was fresh and well-balanced.
