Each Kopitiam food court houses a diverse collection of stalls serving iconic Singaporean favorites including Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, char kway teow, yong tau foo, and kaya toast, alongside international cuisines from Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese traditions. Special outlets like Plaza Singapura feature Michelin-approved hawkers, bringing award-winning flavours under one roof.
Beyond just food, Kopitiam serves as important community spaces where Singaporeans from all walks of life gather daily. Recently revitalized locations at major malls feature thoughtful interior designs and comfortable modern environments while maintaining the authentic taste and competitive pricing that makes hawker culture accessible to everyone.

Late lunch with family on 05/01/2024.
Xi’An Cuisine 西安印象 at Tampines Mall Level 4 Kopitiam.
Order: Xi’An Signature Biang Biang Noodles at $6.80, Xi’An Cold Noodles at $5.00, 6pcs of Steamed Pork Dumplings at $6.50, 6pcs of Fried Pork Dumplings at $7.80, and 5pcs of beef sticks at $6.80.
Verdict: 7/10.
Comments: The signature noodles are nice but salty. The cold noodles are not bad. The steamed pork dumplings are not that nice as I can taste the flour in the skin. The fried pork dumplings taste too porky but are otherwise fine, and the beef sticks are too salty even though they are tasty.
There were plenty of seats, but most tables were dirty. The drinks stall had a super long queue, and the fruits stall was closed.

I ordered chendol from the dessert stall at Kopi Tiam Tampines Mall today around 1 pm. The lady at the stall told me to wait as she wanted to prepare other desserts. While waiting, another customer arrived, and she ignored me to serve the other customer. When I got angry, she shouted at me instead of apologizing.

The food is okay, but the atmosphere is terrible for a food court. The tables are always dirty (not the cleaner's fault, they are always busy and should have more staff!). It would be better to have long tables for single diners so they don't waste table resources.

I wanted to order the a la carte sotong panggang set, but it was unavailable. Either they were out of sotong, or the ayam or ikan sotong panggang set that she recommended was also unavailable. It's very hard to get the a la carte sotong panggang set; I've been quite disappointed a few times.

As a heart patient and being diabetic, I requested a less salty portion, but your chef was so condescending and rude in his reply. He rebuked me for telling him before he cooked my meal (then when?). He spoke in good English. I didn't see him under any duress, so I concluded it's his attitude.

Ordering from FoodPanda is rather expensive. However, the soup's flavour is nice and comforting, not too salty. Unfortunately, this was the first time I've had fish soup with several bones in the fish slices. Perhaps the cutting skills can be improved.
Dined in for their riverside Indonesian grill. Loved the chicken!
The teh ping was okay.

Tampines Mall Kopitiam has a good variety of nice food. Old Airport Road Wanton Mee is one of my favourites, served with black sauce, followed by the Riverside Indonesian BBQ. Sadly, What the Fish's standard has dropped. The Malay Padang rice is also very delicious, but it always has a long queue. So, try out the signature noodles just beside the chicken rice. I fell in love with the noodles; they are generous with the sauce. There are many seats available, but try to avoid coming during lunch hours.

Been here many times after a night of shopping at Tampines Mall. There are lots of cuisine options and it's vastly cheaper than any of the mall restaurants. My only complaint is that it's so popular that it's hard to find a table at peak times (lunch/dinner), and it can get pretty loud.

The lunch crowd made this place very noisy. If you prefer a quiet environment, it's better to go to a restaurant instead of the food court. The selection of food stalls is okay for me.

Best food court… it's not smelly and hygiene is always maintained. Staff are also good… unlike other malls, this food court never makes the mall smell. The food is good when compared to other malls in the east. While the food isn't great, it's still okay; the desserts need to improvise their taste.
