Terrible service at So Pho — never coming back. The service was absolutely awful, especially from the man who seemed to be the manager — tall, strong build, wearing black. I asked about a misleading set meal photo on their phone menu (the price didn’t match), and instead of helping, he snapped, “You can choose not to add it.” When I pointed out the photo could mislead customers, he got aggressive, raised his voice, followed me back to my seat, and shouted again. He even took the menu off our table, clearly trying to kick us out. I stayed polite the whole time, but the manager’s attitude was rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. An extremely unpleasant experience. Never coming back.

Environment: The restaurant was very hot and humid, possibly because the mall had just opened an hour ago.
Service: The tall, large waiter seemed unwilling to take our order from the menu, and his behavior showed it.
Food: I ate the beef set lunch ($11.90++), but couldn't finish it as it tasted awful. The three large chunks of beef spare parts, two slices of shabu-shabu beef, and two beef balls all didn't taste fresh. The addon dessert consisted of small spring rolls with not much filling and thick skin, deep-fried in overused oil. The lemongrass drink tasted like syrup. The whole set meal was not authentic at all.

However, the food here is not authentic Vietnamese taste at all. There's a significant difference between the Vietnamese Phở, and even the spring rolls or salads.
The soup is salty, and the sweetness doesn't come from the bones of beef, pork, or chicken. (It's from sugar).
The vermicelli and pho noodles are also not Vietnamese; they have a mushy feel when overcooked.
Instead of calling it a Vietnamese restaurant, it would be better to describe it as a Singaporean restaurant or state that the recipes are self-created.
If you have prior experience with Vietnamese Pho, I have no strong opinion about you trying this restaurant's food. But if you're looking to try Vietnamese food for the first time, I must advise that this is not the right choice, as it is absolutely not Vietnamese food, or at least not Vietnamese in flavor.
