Ordered delivery. My banh mi bread was moldy. I only found out after I took a bite and tasted it. Then I opened it and saw huge mold circles. You can even see where I bit. I'm going overseas in two days. If I get sick and cannot go, what then? Will the restaurant refund my trip? Will they pay for my doctor's visits too?

My wife and I ate here two days ago. The food and service were okay. The problem was my wife had to rush to the toilet immediately after the meal with vomiting and diarrhoea. She had to rush to the A&E in the middle of the night when we saw blood. It's unfortunate because we eat at So Pho occasionally and generally like the food, but this was our first time at this outlet. The possible culprits are the summer rolls or the raw vegetables that came with her beef Pho.

Tried the super value set meal, which included bun noodle with chicken, a summer roll & fried spring roll appetizer, and a lemongrass drink. Overall, the taste was okay. I also tried the prawn cake on sugar cane, which tasted a bit too salty. It was passable.

With the So Pho deal, for just $9.90 plus $1.90, you get seafood fried rice, spring rolls, and a lemongrass drink — such a great bargain! The staff are very friendly; I was served by Nora, who always had a smile on her face. It was a very pleasant dining experience, and the ambience felt worth much more than what I paid.

The outlet in JEM served fresh beef noodles and refreshing drinks. Loved their prawn paper roll. Highly recommend, the staff are well-mannered.

Thursday, 29 May 2025, 12 pm First Visit to So Pho @ Jem I tried So Pho at Jem for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Rice — it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was incredibly tender and full of flavour. My colleagues had the beef noodle soup, which came piping hot with fresh noodles and tasty, well-seasoned beef. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean with a well-managed crowd, making the dining experience very pleasant. We also enjoyed the drinks — refreshing and flavorful! Overall, So Pho is a great spot for team lunches or casual gatherings. Will definitely come back again!

Heard a lot about egg and coconut coffee via social media, so I decided to drop by So Pho at JEM just to try them. cà phê trứng (egg coffee) is a unique and decadent beverage known for its creamy, sweet, and rich flavor profile. It's a delightful fusion of strong Vietnamese coffee, typically robusta, and a smooth, airy topping made from whipped egg yolks, sugar, and condensed milk. The result is a dessert-like experience with a harmonious blend of bold coffee and a velvety, sweet, and slightly custardy egg foam. cà phê dừa (coconut coffee) is a delicious and refreshing beverage that combines the bold, robust flavor of Vietnamese coffee with the creamy sweetness of coconut milk and condensed milk. Overall, they are good.
