- The chicken ball bun was not nice. The noodles were slimy, and the balls tasted weird; I wouldn't eat this even for free. - The beef pho was not bad, but the portion size was smaller than the Novena outlet. The extra tendon for $4 was very little.
Style Forward
The place was decent and the food was okay. However, the staff were very rude. There was a charging power socket available, but we weren't allowed to use it. We also brought in two small scoops of ice cream from outside and ate them inside, but a Malay girl wearing a hijab rudely told us, "If you want to eat outside food, you should eat outside!" It seems these staff members haven't been taught manners. While it's understandable to inform customers about rules, it should be done politely. Furthermore, we were asked to settle the bill before we had even finished our food. Again, politeness with customers is key.

Had the Lemongrass Beef with Rice ($13.50). The beef slices were tender, served with a sunny-side-up egg. It was comfort food. I'm not usually a fan of Vietnamese food, but this dish was decent enough. Service was fast and prompt.

The food and service are usually good at other branches, but not here. Our requests were basically ignored by the staff, and the mango sticky rice looked abysmal.

The food was okay, and the pho soup was tasty. The service was good, and the staff was friendly. However, in my opinion, the shrimp spring rolls weren't really good, and the fried spring rolls didn't taste great; they tasted like frozen ones. The lychee iced tea was really, really good, and I would highly recommend that.

We had an afternoon dine-in at So Pho. We enjoyed the great, affordable, and delicious food, as well as the ambience. We love Vietnamese food. Staff Liezel was very friendly and accommodating. Great service.

I’ve been to So Pho several times, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pho broth is rich and comforting, and the spring rolls are a must-try—light, crispy, and perfectly paired with the dipping sauce. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambience is casual yet clean, great for both a quick meal or a relaxed dinner. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and portions are generous. If you’re craving Vietnamese food in Singapore, So Pho is definitely worth checking out.

Amazing portion, and the food and vegetables are fresh. The spring roll skin is sticky but also chewy, which I like. I forgot to take a picture, but I also ordered chicken basil rice, and it was really good!! Service is okay but could be improved, though it was still a good experience here!

With the So Pho deal, for just $9.90 plus $1.90, you get seafood fried rice, spring rolls, and a lemongrass drink — such a great bargain! The staff are very friendly; I was served by Nora, who always had a smile on her face. It was a very pleasant dining experience, and the ambience felt worth much more than what I paid.
