I like the Chicken Rice stall and the Ah Ma Chi Mian noodles. The place is very crowded during peak hours, but during off-peak hours, it’s a spacious and clean place to relax.

Chicken Rice Store
I recently ordered steamed chicken rice from this place, but unfortunately, the chicken appeared undercooked, with a pinkish hue and an unappetizing texture. When I raised my concern, the staff, a Malay lady, assured me that it was “meant to be like that.” However, properly steamed chicken should be fully cooked while remaining tender, and this did not seem safe to eat.
I was quite disappointed, as I expected better quality. I hope the restaurant can ensure their food is thoroughly cooked for the safety and satisfaction of customers.
Improvements would be appreciated in the future!

There's a 15 percent discount for new openings, and an additional 10 percent with the NTUC app. I chose sea bass from the two different kinds of fish available.
The person claimed the fish was at least 500-600g when we asked about its size. However, it was actually a very small fish, propped up by bean sprouts underneath.
Taste-wise, it wasn't up to standard. I asked for less spicy, but it was quite diluted and not fragrant. It was also very oily, and the taste was bland. The fire under the fish pot extinguished very quickly; about a quarter of the way through, there was no more fire or heat.
Service was friendly, but the meal left me unsatisfied and hungry. I couldn't even finish the rice. The four side dishes were also bland.

Ordered an iced Teh Spin from the drinks stall. No straw was provided for the 'freeze'. The weird design of the cap makes it difficult, if not impossible, to drink. From the staff's responses, it seems they've already received a lot of feedback from customers about this. (I guess the 'Boss' simply doesn't care)... so please change the cap design or bring back the straw. If neither is possible, then don't sell this item.

4 stars for food in terms of variety. I believe high rental rates ensure a high turnover of stalls, meaning there are always new ones.
1 star for service because no one cleans the tables; I serve myself and return the tray myself.
2 stars for atmosphere. 5 stars for design and decor – very good effort. Minus 2 stars for cleanliness and the sticky floor, and minus one more star for the low ceiling, which means it can get very noisy.
Also, Kopitiam aims to evoke nostalgia by using old and blackened bowls, reminiscent of the 60s and 80s. I'm not sure if it's carcinogenic, but I'm sure that's not the intention.

Pretty food court. I was a bit surprised they have so many amazing food options. It gets too crowded during lunch time. Spotted Hong Lim Curry Puff there, but didn't get a chance to try it. Perhaps next time.

Many food choices. Tried ban mian, rojak, mala, and Thai. The Thai dish was a bit disappointing as the taste was below average. The mala was so-so, but there was a large spread of ingredients to choose from.

Today I ordered the Thai Basil pork with egg rice. The dish was served within 1 minute, which was surprisingly fast for this type of meal. The dish was warm, but not piping hot. It seemed the minced pork was pre-cooked and simply ladled onto the plate. I felt this dish did not do justice to the stall's name, Thai Dynasty!
I returned the partially eaten dish and explained it was cold. They immediately prepared another plate, and this time it was truly piping hot! As I enjoyed the food, I realized about 30% of the minced pork consisted of chunks of fat. I had separated only the visible pork fat as shown in the photo (top right), and I wasn't expecting this much fat for this dish. The fat had a distinctive smell and a thawed taste. The basil leaves... seriously had no taste at all. Were they even basil leaves?!
Overall, the dish was palatable, however, going through the incident was a real turn-off. The total damage was $7.29 (using the Fairprice group app).
Their service, as expected from a Thai establishment, was amicable, gentle, and understanding!
I personally enjoy Thai food, but this stall needs room for improvement.

I still remember the original Mala Xiang Guo stall at JEM foodcourt years ago; it was my go-to! I came back recently, and though the stall seems to have changed, the extra spicy MLXG I had was shiok max! It was flavourful, numbing, and had just the right kick. Totally worth the spice sweat!

Today I had takeaways for a claypot chicken rice and a fried chicken scrambled egg rice. The food tasted very good, and both stalls had friendly staff. The portion of the claypot chicken rice was a bit small for the price charged. The place was quite busy, possibly due to it being the weekend.
