The food looks okay, but the taste is bad. The smell of reused oil is present in every single fried item. It's quite unpleasant. I hope I don't get food poisoning after eating such poor-quality food. Only two staff were serving the entire restaurant. The Vietnamese staff couldn't understand basic English or Chinese. I gave feedback to the manager, Ms. Annie, about the food quality, and she said feedback could only be given through Google reviews. So, here I am.

First time here. Had their Ayam Penyet at a promo of $10 (before GST and service charge). The chicken was decent, but the rice was not fully cooked as I could chew the hardness in the middle. The chilli was not spicy enough. Tables were clean and the place was well air-conditioned.

Got the seafood noodles, and they were hella oily. I agree with one of the reviewers that the oil they use tastes strange. The squid and shrimp tasted like frozen ones (not freshwater prawns; they were the crunchy type). There wasn't much service, considering I ordered from the QR code and walked to make the payment at the counter without getting the check to my table as well. I wonder what service I'm paying for exactly. Skip this spot, it's not worth your time.

Had a great dining experience at Streats (City Square Mall)! The food was delicious with a wide variety of options – from Western to Thai to local favorites – there's something for everyone. The drinks were refreshing, and the ambience was comfortable and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. What really stood out was the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth it for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely be coming back to try more from their diverse menu!

Visited Streats City Square Branch again on Jan 1, 2025, and it was a pleasure to see the familiar, welcoming faces of the servers. The service, led by Ocean, stood out as exceptional. Despite not dining there for some time, Ocean’s superb memory and warm greeting made us feel right at home. The food quality remains consistently good. While the new scanning system has its limitations in offering more options for food ordering, Ocean promptly assisted us by taking a verbal order for our preferred dishes and ensuring the kitchen accommodated our request. Everything was great, except for the wanton noodle soup, which could have been served warmer for a perfect experience. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a Halal option, as the food is both delicious and reasonably priced.

Authentic Hong Kong Style Lemon Tea. My favorite! The fried rice is nice. More ingredients would be better as it's a bit pricey. The Oyster Egg Omelette is nice.

Ordered Siew Mai, Basil Leaves Minced Chicken Rice Set, Fried Seafood Kway Teow, and Streats Chandol. While the Fried Seafood Kway Teow was reasonably good, the basil leaves minced chicken lacked aroma and flavour. The Siew Mai was a bit chewy. The staff were receptive and friendly.
