With over 70 locations across the country and complete MUIS halal certification at all outlets, this Los Angeles-born chain has successfully adapted to Singapore's diverse dining landscape while maintaining its commitment to quality and inclusivity. The brand's dedication to serving both Singapore and Malaysia with halal-certified beverages and food demonstrates their understanding of the region's cultural and religious diversity, making premium coffee experiences accessible to all communities.

The extensive beverage menu showcases the brand's expertise in both coffee and tea craftsmanship, featuring their signature Ice Blended® drinks like the Ultimate Mocha and Salted Caramel varieties starting from $9.80, alongside carefully curated latte options including Vanilla Latte and Matcha Green Tea Latte from $8.90. Their tea selection spans seven distinct categories—Green, Black, Oolong, Herbal Infusion, Decaffeinated, Flavored, and Tea Master's—ensuring there's a perfect brew for every preference. Beyond beverages, their halal-certified food menu includes breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, cakes, and pastries, creating a comprehensive café experience that serves customers throughout the day.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's success in Singapore stems from their ability to provide a premium coffee house experience in a Muslim-friendly environment, filling a crucial niche in the local F&B market. The brand's consistency in maintaining halal standards while delivering international coffee shop quality has earned them a loyal customer base, positioning them as a trusted choice for both casual coffee meetings and special celebrations in Singapore's competitive café landscape.

Very poor. I ordered a takeaway cappuccino while out shopping. I was surprised how light the cup was, so I poured the liquid into a standard 330 ml glass. See photo attached. Totally gutted that I was ripped off this way.

Balmoral Plaza Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. A great place to meet up with friends or grab a coffee and cake. However, don't expect to get a nice seat without cold air conditioning blowing on you. Comfortable and cosy seats are often taken up by students (as usual) who stay for hours with just one purchase from Coffee Bean (usually a drink) and other food items bought from nearby restaurants like Subway or McDonald's! There is, however, a signage at the front of the cafe stating '60 mins dining time', which I assume is ignored as the dangers of COVID seem non-existent now. But this is not just a hangout for students; it's for everyone to enjoy.

The coffee is what you expect from Coffee Bean. The food is definitely not worth the price they charge. It's edible, but the standards aren't even on par with a standard hawker centre western food stall. They also serve quite slowly, even during non-peak hours.

The coffee was bad. The food was horrible (see pic). The toast was not toasted, perhaps only for 1 minute. The eggs looked microwaved. The sausage was boiled and truly disgusting. Service was bad too. We asked for a napkin, but the staff refused, telling us to get one from the straw area, where there were no more napkins left.

Sammer's friendly approach is commendable. He always welcomes his customers and treats them with kindness and respect. The sandwich he prepared was so delicious, and he even gave me a free ice water. Highly recommended outlet!

Back to edit my review. I come here so often to do my work that the baristas recognise me, remember my order, and even deliver it to me (it was a slow period when I came after 9pm). Absolute A+ service. I love it here. Also, it's no longer 24/7, but that's okay. It adds a time limit to encourage me to finish my work quicker and go home. - 16/3/24 Super cozy place to come and do work, especially in the evenings when it's quiet! I love that it's 24/7. The music choice is good, pleasant to the ears. The service staff are also super friendly and open to chatting if there's no one else. Always ready to help. The fusilli pasta was super worth the money; it smelled delicious but was so filling I couldn't finish it. I'll definitely order it again if I have someone to share with, or I'll do a takeaway. Thanks for the great space! (Also loved that when I complimented the English breakfast tea latte, the barista said, "Of course, I made it!")

Pros: Nice cosy settings with new furniture as this branch is pretty new. Huge serving for breakfast, and mine came with salad! Always have good deals on the Coffee Bean app and in-house promos for food and drinks. Variety of cakes in line with Halloween, CNY, Easter, Mid-Autumn Festival, Christmas, etc. Near the MRT. Not many students hogging tables unlike other cafes. At Balmoral Plaza, so you can wait here while your child goes for enrichment like TKD, tuition, Kumon, or when your pet goes for grooming. Cons: Recently not 24 hours. Hours changed to close at 2 am
