Walked into the Bedok Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. There was no staff behind the counter. I was left standing for a good 5 to 10 minutes. When a lady finally appeared, there was no apology for the delay, just attitude. I walked out without ordering and will never go back.

After a disappointing experience at Starbucks, I visited Coffee Bean and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. The staff were patient, attentive, and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer my questions and suggest signature cakes. The environment was clean, quiet, and inviting.

We were asked to leave less than 10 minutes before closing, even though I had barely finished my drink and food. Where was I expected to finish my drink? The male staff member working from 6-8:30 rudely told us this is not a study area in a disrespectful and condescending tone. He was also the one who served me a diluted matcha latte. He wasn't at the counter for more than 10 minutes when I wanted to order, and he argued loudly with his colleagues about his pay, which was incredibly distracting and rude. Keep in mind there was minimal crowd and many seats were empty at this point. Besides, there were many other people working on their laptops when we came previous times, but they chose to ask us to leave, perhaps because we are younger. Very disgusted and disappointed with this service. Improvement will be greatly appreciated, even though I will not be coming back.

The place was nice and brightly lit. However, it's not kid/stroller friendly as the space is very small. Service was okay; not the friendliest, but it wasn't bad. The drink was poor, though. It's probably one of the worst matcha I've had. It just tasted like milk and sugar, with no discernible matcha flavour. I would not recommend.

Had the $10 1-for-1 waffle promo. I was under the impression that there would be Spanish latte. However, during ordering, we were given options of Americano, coffee, or tea. Not sure why. Food-wise, the waffle wasn't toasted well and was still very soft.

The vegetarian pesto spaghetti at the Bedok Mall outlet was a delightful combination of al dente pasta coated in a flavorful basil pesto sauce, generously sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and topped with pine nuts for added texture. The dish boasted a vibrant green hue and a fresh, herbaceous aroma that tantalized the taste buds. Paired perfectly with a refreshing iced hazelnut latte, the meal was a symphony of savory and sweet flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. The creamy latte complemented the pasta dish beautifully, with its nutty undertones adding depth to each sip. Overall, a highly recommended culinary experience for vegetarians and coffee lovers alike.

I've always been a fan of CBTL, but I've noticed the Ultimate Mocha has been tasting a bit weak lately. It doesn't matter which outlet I go to; it tastes weaker with not much coffee bean bits. I found a new favourite though – it's the flat white. I went there at 4 am and waited for a bit at the counter, but that's fine, it was 4 am. I've always had good service here. The reason I'm leaving a review is because I really, really want a flat white, but it's 11 pm on a work night 😩

This branch just opened a month or two ago and it’s lovely to look at from the outside. The interior of this place is extremely cramped, with tables jammed into every possible corner. This makes it hard for the air conditioning to cool the area. Besides all that, I thought the service was pretty well upheld. I bought a cheesecake the last time I was there and before I could eat it, I noticed a fly on the surface of the cake. I informed the staff and they very quickly took the entire cake (not just the slice I bought) into the kitchen to do quality control. I really appreciated that, and they also offered me a replacement cake to make up for the contaminated one. Drinks-wise, it’s the same old fare.

The staff here are absolutely lovely and kind. I came in with my dad and 2-year-old daughter. They helped us with a baby chair and waited patiently while we decided on our order. There was a mix-up with our order (our fault), but they kindly rectified it and even gave my daughter some warm milk to have with her snack. A special thank you to shift manager Rubini and barista Annie for all your help ❤️
