Toast & Roll by Swee Heng represents the innovative sixth addition to the established Swee Heng Corporation's brand portfolio, launching in August 2024 as a modern halal-certified bakery concept that targets younger demographics including working adults and youths. This strategic expansion builds upon Swee Heng's 35-year legacy since 1989, leveraging their reputation as a trusted household name with over 35 outlets islandwide to create a contemporary grab-and-go bakery experience.
The bakery showcases over 50 carefully curated items ranging from $2.10 to $4.80, combining signature flavors like BBQ Chicken Floss and Hawaiian Pizza with innovative offerings such as Hokkaido Milk Danish and Taiwan Taro Rolls. The brand's appeal is enhanced through special bunny- and cat-patterned packaging that reflects their focus on younger consumers while maintaining Swee Heng's commitment to quality and affordability.
With rapid expansion across Singapore including locations at Jurong Point, Oasis Terraces, Tampines MRT, Novena Square, and Bedok Mall, plus upcoming openings at The LINQ @ Beauty World, Lentor Modern, West Mall, and Heartland Mall Kovan, Toast & Roll demonstrates Swee Heng's ability to adapt their established halal bakery expertise to contemporary market demands. This modern approach ensures convenience and innovation while preserving the quality halal-certified products that have made Swee Heng a trusted choice for all communities in Singapore.

Hmmm… interesting creations!! BUT - the chiffon cakes - it says they must be kept refrigerated at 5°C, BUT they are sitting out in the open air by the entrance, not in a refrigerated space, and the mall space is not even air-conditioned!!

Tried their waffle today. The lady staff with light brown tattooed eyebrows took my order, and she was alright. I had to repeat my order twice for some reason, though. It was my first time ordering their waffles, so I didn't know where to stand or what to do, and she didn't do anything but just stare at me. Zero customer service, actually. But okay, I got my waffles in the end, and they're not really that good, especially when they cost $2.70. In my opinion, go to the store selling Nyonya desserts at B1 instead if you want waffles that are affordable and nice!

As much as the waffle and bread are tasty, a business can definitely be ruined by its staff. I went 3 times because I really love their waffle. Both staff members (the lady with black-rimmed glasses and the other lady in charge of making waffles) were very unprofessional and rude, with zero customer service and bad attitudes. By the way, the signboard shows waffle time from 9 am to 8 pm, but if you reach there at 7:30 pm, they will tell you no more orders. In this case, please change your signboard so you don't confuse your clients. Shitty service from the staff is killing your business.

Management got back after I sent an email. The manager from the outlet called with a refund and a complementary cake. Hopefully, this will be the last episode of such an issue.
Who can be SO LUCKY??? Buy a cake and get a "FREE birthday gift"???
Dearest Swee Heng, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment.
We bought a ready-made cake for a special birthday celebration, and unfortunately, when we sliced it, we discovered a hair inside. It was embedded in the cake itself, although it came off when we removed the slice. This was quite unpleasant and disappointing, especially considering the occasion when the birthday boy was expecting his birthday cake!!!!

The official page states closing time is 10pm, but I arrived at 9:33pm, hoping to buy a cake. However, your staff rejected my purchase, saying they had already completed the day's settlement. If you are unable to operate until the stated closing time, please update your closing hours to an earlier time to avoid wasting customers' trips.
