Yi Zun Noodle holds the prestigious distinction of being Singapore's first halal-certified restaurant specializing in authentic Chinese hand-pulled noodles and Xinjiang cuisine, pioneered by Madam Aisha, a Chinese-Muslim from Qinghai Province. Founded with the simple yet profound dream of bringing authentic halal Chinese cuisine to Singapore at affordable prices, this groundbreaking establishment has successfully bridged the gap between traditional Chinese culinary arts and Singapore's diverse halal dining landscape.

The restaurant's signature hand-pulled noodles represent a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship, where skilled artisans transform dough into long, smooth strings of noodles through traditional techniques passed down through generations. These noodles are served in rich beef broth made from scratch, with fresh beef bones slow-cooked for at least three hours and continuously replenished to maintain robust, authentic flavors that transport diners to the heart of Xinjiang Province.

Beyond their renowned noodles, Yi Zun Noodle offers a comprehensive menu of authentic Xinjiang specialties including marinated lamb skewers grilled to succulent perfection on bamboo for additional flavor, Fish with Pickled Mustard Greens, and their aromatic Chuan Xiang Chicken. With multiple locations across Singapore including Joo Chiat Road, City Square Mall, and Marina Square, Yi Zun Noodle continues to serve generous portions of authentic halal Chinese cuisine, making it a significant contributor to Singapore's multicultural culinary scene.

Superb halal Chinese cuisine joint. The only downside was the space; it was quite squeezy. The mushroom egg soup is so good. The salted egg custard bun was not too salty, a bit too sweet but very creamy and smooth. The bun itself was soft and delicious. We bought fish, egg tofu hotplate, kailan, cabbage, dumplings, and mutton/chicken skewers. Everything was well cooked with spices and garlic, nothing too overpowering. We chose medium for everything; the spicy level can go up to hot, and medium was not too spicy. The prune juice was sweet, mildly sour, and definitely good to pair with the spiciness of the food. We will definitely visit again to try the rest of the menu.

Ordered the noodle set meal. For the beef noodles, the broth was light and tasty, well-balanced. Service was fast, even though the restaurant was very understaffed. The two servers were super efficient. Ordered skewers - super good value and would recommend.

Yummy zha jiang mian and really delicious seafood broth/soup that can feed at least 2 people. The broth has a wok hei fragrance. The plum drink that comes with the set is a bit too sweet though, tasting like melted candy.

Yizun Noodle is a fantastic find! The steamed chicken with savory sauce was tender and juicy, a perfect start to the meal. The mala pot was packed with flavor, with a good balance of spice and numbing sensation. However, I still prefer the real mala; it seems they have their own spices. The seafood thick soup was rich and hearty, perfect and delicious with rice, and filled with fresh seafood. And last but not least, all this deliciousness comes at a very reasonable price of around 39 SGD! Definitely worth a visit for a satisfying and affordable meal with fast service.
