Very disappointed. When we dined in, the chicken was not nice, it tasted a bit sour. The lasagna was also a bit sour, and the carbonara had no taste at all. It was a waste of money, and we regret eating at Shakey's. The taste here is different from the Philippines; it's not nice, honestly. Sorry, I'm just giving an honest review. Thanks.

Poor customer service. Our takeaway set order was divided into two: our pizza was waiting to be picked up at the takeaway counter, and the rest of the order was waiting at the dine-in counter. Our number was not called, so we had to approach the counter to check. It got worse when a service staff member commented that it is 'impossible' for their pizza to get cold. This was after I asked my daughter to check if the pizza was still hot, as a previous order we made earlier had been cold. When I asked him what he meant by that comment, he pointed to his oven and said that their pizzas are all made to order, so it's 'not possible' for the food to get cold. I had to confront him, stating that I wouldn't lie about the food and was just making sure my daughter got to eat hot pizza, which was why I bought another set. I went ahead to get my pizza from the other counter. Another sales staff member then approached me to ask what the problem was. Instead of making the situation better, she started telling me that I should stop pointing at her and raising my voice. I told her to stop talking to me and just give us our delayed order, instead of defending their lousy service.

Same taste as Shakey's back in the Philippines! I'm so excited we have Shakey's back! Although I'm honestly not a huge fan of their pizzas, it's nice to have a taste of home. The spices on the fried chicken are exactly what Shakey's chicken should be – salty and dry, which I love. And the mojos are addictive! Now for the negative side, I think the big issue is the pricing. I was shocked that a fast-casual pizza joint is priced even more than gourmet pizza restaurants with far better quality. Only their 'Bunch of Lunch' is a good value, but still a little steep. I think the price should be around $7.50 instead of $9.80. No wonder there was literally no queue when I went, and Jollibee had a pretty long queue. To be fair, service was fast (maybe because I was the only person there) and the packaging is good. I think the management should seriously consider adjusting the price, especially because it's located in a food court with many better and more affordable options around.

Tried Shakey's for the first time. A little pricey for the portion, in my opinion. The pizza was not bad when hot, but it got a bit hard when slightly cooled down. Taste-wise, it was okay; I liked the garlic cheese flavour. The chicken, however, was slightly below my expectation. I prefer Jollibee.

As it was my first visit, I wanted to try a bit of everything, so I ordered the "Bunch of Lunch" for $9.90, which includes 2 slices of pizza, spaghetti, mojos, and a piece of fried chicken. The staff informed me that the Mojos (fried potato rounds) were not available and would be replaced by garlic bread.
Both the fried chicken and the brown gravy tasted quite bland to me, and the spaghetti sauce was also somewhat lacking. I hope they can improve as they are still new.
Taste-wise, I personally prefer the other Filipino fast food chain in the same mall.
