I went there and had to order the promo via the counter. It was clear they were shorthanded, and I had to wait a good 15 minutes before someone took my order. After waiting for my order, some food items were missing again, which isn't the first time at this outlet.
Managers knew it was peak hour but chose to have their own private meeting at this time? No common sense at all. The food was also cold. It's no wonder they need to constantly have promos to avoid losing their customers.

I understand that shrinkflation is an issue in Singapore, but this is too much. This sausage croissan'wich is probably only enough for a 3-year-old kid. BK should stop having misleading ads that feature big, fluffy sandwiches because this was really not filling at all.
Also, don't let me get started on the staff member who arrived 30 minutes late for her shift while her solo colleague was working hard to fulfill the many orders. I'm willing to look past that.

This was quite strange. I ordered the omelette platter but received two round, custardy steamed eggs with mushrooms on top. I was really looking forward to my omelette! This isn't what I usually get at other outlets. If they can't make omelettes, they should just close the kiosk! Why make customers eat this? I even found hair in my croissant bun. The taro pie was very good though.

The Gourmet Garlic Angus Beef Burger is good. It has a nice garlicky sauce with garlic chips that complements the beef burger well. The garlic fries are also nice, though too much of them can be a bit much.
The Mushroom Swiss is a classic and always a favourite.
The Portobello Mushroom Angus Beef Burger is an upgrade to the Mushroom Swiss. That huge single piece of portobello mushroom is a delight to sink your teeth into, releasing all that mushroom juice onto the Angus beef and cheese.

I often patronise this Burger King outlet at Kinex and have always found their staff to be polite and provide good service. Today, I decided to have a cup of tea from Popeyes Kinex, just around the corner, while having my tea. Later, the Popeyes staff refused to refill my tea cup with hot water. I decided to walk over to Burger King Kinex to conduct an experiment. I came empty-handed, asking for a cup of hot water. One female staff member provided me with a cup of hot water without any questions. I later explained the 'experiment' I was doing to her and thanked her. This just proved to me that there's hope in kindness and compassion. (If you want to exclude the words 'customer service', as technically I didn't spend any money there today. However, it's at least a brand (and this particular branch and staff member) that I will remember.)
P.S. I usually bring my own cup or bag wherever I go to cut down on the use of disposables, but I left my cup at home today. (I'm sure I can do better in this... to all the environmentalists out there who might be commenting and criticising.)
