Service was better than expected, although the crew appeared to be young. The set meal came with a miso soup or iced tea option, so I asked why I had to choose only one when I wanted both. The service crew suggested I could get the set with one and order the other à la carte. I decided not to, so I stuck with the miso soup option and did not order the drink. Guess what? They serve complimentary tea! Prices are in the fast food range, so this came as a pleasant surprise. Food overall is good with decent-sized servings. The 'M' size was sufficient for me (6 footer, 86kg). As for the ambience, my only complaint is the halogen lights, which made sitting there very warm!

Horrible service. I asked about my takeaway order as I couldn't find it in the pigeon holes and thought it had been taken away accidentally by others because I took too long to return. One of the staff couldn't even bother to let me finish my question and rudely and loudly said from afar to check the pigeon holes. I retorted that I had checked, and she repeated in an even louder and more frustrated tone.
Yes, in the end, I was the one who didn't see my order on the top rack. But it's clear that this lady hates her job and should not be in this line of work.
Will never be back to this outlet again.

Service was atrocious. No one attended to the customers waiting in line. I had to walk in and seat myself at an empty table and clear the previous diner's tray myself. Staff were also very slow at clearing tables. Please train your staff to be more efficient.

The standard has dropped so much. The food served doesn't look anything like the menu. Prices have gone up significantly since they first started, which was their draw point. The chicken karaage served wasn't hot and seemed microwaved rather than freshly made. Definitely won't return to any outlet again.

A good bowl of yakiniku, much like what you'd expect from Sukiya. The demi-glazed mushroom sauce was a little on the salty side, but the rice remained fluffy and nice.

5 stars overall for price affordability paired with an air-conditioned environment and table service. When I made payment, I realized that menu prices are already nett, meaning GST and service charges are all included. The option for a low-carb menu is also welcoming for a small eater like me seeking a healthier lunch. Overall, it's like a fast-food chain but focuses on rice with meat meals. Highly recommended is the karaage chicken with poached egg rice as an appetite perk-up.

A Fantastic Family Dining Experience at Sukiya Gyudon·Curry (KINEX)
Just had a delightful meal here with my family. My son accidentally knocked over his rice, and the staff was extremely responsive – they quickly brought a fresh serving without us even having to ask.
The food was delicious, especially the gyudon; the beef was tender and full of flavor. The service was top-notch. Not only did they handle the rice-spilling incident thoughtfully, but they were also friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere was clean and cozy, perfect for a casual family dinner.
We spent around S$10 per person, and for this quality, it’s really great value for money. Highly recommend coming here for a worry-free and tasty meal!

They are finally open at Kinex, and I was really looking forward to it. Nobody comes close to value for money when it comes to their beef bowls. The standard bowl is only $4.90 and tastes pretty decent! Plus, it's filling as well. Obviously not the best quality, but the price-to-satisfaction ratio is high here.

I've been eating here for the past month, and it has become my go-to spot right after my Evolve MMA classes! I love the variety of food they offer, and personally, I'm a big fan of the limited-time mentai mayo & cheese. The service is great, and the waiting time wasn't long at all. Prices are reasonable. I'll definitely keep coming back!
