I have visited this store many times, but this visit was quite disappointing. I found a brown hair in my bowl when I was almost finished with my food. The restaurant's sanitation could be improved. Although the staff served me very quickly, they almost gave me the wrong order.

The staff need to manage seat control and pay more attention to the queue situation. We waited for more than 15 minutes, and no staff came to find out how many people were in the queue. In the end, we took seating matters into our own hands. Staff here need to manage churning out food and managing the crowd at the same time.

I often come to Suntec for lunch and was looking forward to dining at this relatively new Japanese restaurant near the entrance of Suntec City shopping mall. There was already a queue when I arrived around 12:20 pm, but it moved quickly. We were shown to a table and given a paper with a QR code to order. Ordering was straightforward, and the food arrived shortly after. They have an extensive menu. I ordered the large egg yakiniku bowl set and a miso soup; the meal cost SGD$12.30 in total. In terms of taste, it was not bad. However, the beef was tough and dry. Despite ordering a large portion, there was quite little meat, though the rice portion was huge. It felt pointless to upsize the meal in my opinion. The vegetables tasted undercooked, with a raw vegetable flavour. The onsen egg was cold. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing dining experience. Service-wise, there is room for improvement. My drink was not served when the food arrived. I might return in the future when the operations are more stable.

ordered the Half boiled egg mentai mayo and it came without the mentai mayo at first then when asked

Ordered the half-boiled egg mentai mayo, and it initially came without the mentai mayo. When we asked, the server said it was inside the bowl, so we dug around but couldn't find any sauce, just cheese. We told the server again, and she looked like she was going to cry and didn't know what to do. I suggested she just go to the kitchen and get the mentai mayo in a ramekin for us. It's okay. I understand it was a Saturday night and mistakes happen, but still, she didn't utter a word when she gave us the diluted and runny mentai mayo that came. It was a bit underwhelming, as we are regulars of Sukiya. The matcha latte also came after we had finished all our meals.

Affordable yet delicious. If you're craving Japanese beef or chicken don, I highly recommend this place. The pricing is super affordable, starting as low as $4.90 for their Gyudon, and what's more, they're located in Suntec City, which is considered one of the pricier places to dine in. The portion size is just right, and they're quite generous with their meat. Would definitely come back for another visit. 10/10

Had a good meal here. There's usually always a queue for this restaurant, and it served really good rice bowls! The small size is just right for a lady who's hungry. Coupled with the special edition strawberry matcha, it's really good too! Easy to order and affordable price as well. The drink is slightly on the higher side, but both items cost me less than $10. Reminds me of the beef don in Japan. I wish there were more outlets across the island.

The long queue was totally worth it. The meat was good, and the portion was amazing and super value for money. The cheese was a good mix with the gyudon. They serve complimentary tea to go along with the bowl. I'll definitely go back again. We queued around 45 minutes for the food. The S size bowl is $4.2, and the XL bowl is $8.8. The XL portion is really massive, with a lot of meat and rice.

Fast service and the food was delicious! Came around 7pm for dinner and the queue wasn't too long. The waiter was very busy, but the food was served relatively quickly, which was good! Had the noodles, and the soup broth was great. Will recommend to my friends to try again! Cheap and affordable too!
