The place was quite empty when we came for a late lunch. We ordered the set meal for two and added the papaya salad. The fish tom yum soup was flavourful and not too spicy; you can choose your preferred spice level. The fried vegetables were nicely done. I loved the prawn cake – it was very crispy on the outside, moist inside, and very tasty. The basil chicken was nice, but the chilli was really hot. I didn't care for the papaya salad; the taste and texture weren't good. Service was fast and the cashier was helpful.

It was the weekend, and very crowded at that time. They handled it well. The average waiting time was about 15 or 20 minutes, if I remember right. The food was nice. Would dine in again next time.

A nice place for a quick lunch in the CBD Suntec area if you need to find a halal Thai place to bring your Muslim friend for a yummy, spicy treat. The place is cool and spacious. The service is fast and the food portions are good. They also have a set lunch menu of favourite items. Give it a go and work up an appetising sweet, sour, spicy combination of mango salad, beef green curry, sweet and sour fish fillet, and fried shrimp kangkong. And if you still have room for dessert, go for the mango sticky rice or red water chestnuts with coconut milk. Iced Thai milk tea completes the Thai meal.

Lunch can be crowded and you might wait quite a bit, even up to 30 minutes. However, the hot food that came out was piping hot. The tom yum hor fun was quite spicy and sour. Other dishes also seemed nice and good value for money. Service was not bad too.

Delicious food with generous portions! I had the prawn omelette, kangkung, and rice – all cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The staff who attended to me was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Great Thai vibes at Sanook Kitchen. Worth a visit!
