Honest Feedback on Pricing and Portion
Not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way, but the overall pricing here seems quite expensive, especially for the drinks and mixed rice.
I paid $7.60 for mixed rice with 2 meat options, but honestly, I have mixed feelings. One of the "meat" dishes was mostly just a few sprinkles mixed into vegetables, and the so-called meatball tasted like it was 80% flour.
As for drinks, $2.00 for an oolong tea? That feels steep. For comparison, I can get a McDonald’s set meal (Fish Burger, Fries, and Drink) for $5.00.
I guess this stall caters more to those who don’t mind spending more.
No wonder more people are turning to fast food — it’s cheaper and more consistent in value.

I ate the salmon, omelette, and teriyaki rice teppan. I think it was generally nice. The price was okay. I liked the teriyaki sauce and egg, but the salmon should have been a bit bigger.

Had the Chicken Cutlet with Carbonara at Renee's Signature and was extremely disappointed. The taste and look of the dish were totally different from what was shown on the menu.
The crust of the chicken didn't seem properly breaded. When cut into smaller pieces, the inside of the chicken was not white but still a bit pink in colour. I reckon it could have been cooked for a longer period. The Carbonara was very bland and dry, just plain spaghetti with a very diluted sauce mixed together. I will definitely not dine at this stall again.

The advertised price and the price actually charged were different. The advertised price for the sugar cane drink at Hillion Mall was $2.50, but I was charged $2.70. I informed the Indian lady staff that the price she charged was wrong, but she refused to listen and was very rude to the customer. She charged the wrong price herself and was still rude to the customer. What kind of service is this?

Avoid the red wine chicken mee sua from this ban mian stall. Paid $6.50 for this and all I got were the corner joints of some chicken wings and an end chunk of a drumstick. Not even a full wing. Felt very ripped off.

The old cucumber soup is decent!
Good that they now accept the NTUC app for payment as it's more convenient!
Also, wow, the Bingsu is definitely a must-try. It's cheap and good!

I had tried ordering from GrabFood a few times and finally found this place!!!
Jia Wei Lao Huo Tang - located at level 2 inside the Hillion Mall Kopitiam Non Halal Area.
Comforting soup served with many ingredients and the portion is just nice for one person. The takeaway portion is big and they give half a chicken. If you still feel it's not enough, you can order white rice/brown rice. This is a meal worth returning for! Next round, I will try their braised pork and 猪脚醋!!

Delicious mala hot pot (dry stir fry). The portions are pretty huge, especially when you add dry ramen. I opted for it to be extra spicy, and it was painful BUT DELICIOUS to eat. It leaves you wanting more.
Service was quick and fuss-free. No issues, and I will definitely be back!!

This Kopitiam food court is located above the Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange at Hillion Mall. It is a very popular food court due to its strategic location – it also sits above an MRT Station, attracting a lot of footfall from commuters, shoppers, and residents from the surrounding public and private housing estates. It houses a wide variety of food stalls, offering everything from local to Thai, Korean, Filipino, and Western cuisines. I particularly noticed a higher-than-usual number of Halal stalls, including a very famous Michelin Bib Gourmand nasi lemak stall, compared to other food courts I've visited. The view from this food court is also quite nice, overlooking much of the road and train traffic in the vicinity.
