Lee Wee & Brothers has evolved from a single hawker stall in 2000 into one of Singapore's most recognizable halal-certified local food brands, maintaining seven halal-certified outlets alongside comprehensive catering services. This culinary institution has become synonymous with authentic Singaporean flavors, particularly their signature otah and nasi lemak preparations that utilize fresh ingredients and family recipes passed down through generations. The brand's success represents the successful modernization of traditional hawker culture, bringing beloved local dishes from street-side stalls to premium shopping mall locations while maintaining the authenticity and halal certification that made them a household name across Singapore's diverse communities.

The restaurant's menu centers around iconic Singaporean dishes, with their flavourful Nasi Lemak and traditional Otah serving as flagship offerings that showcase the depth of local culinary heritage. The Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken Wing represents their most popular combination, featuring crispy, juicy chicken paired with fragrant coconut rice and house-made spicy sambal that delivers the complex flavor profiles Singaporeans expect from authentic preparations. Their Otah selection demonstrates remarkable variety, offering Original Fish Otah, Squid Otah, Prawn Otah, and Fish Roe Otah variations that cater to different taste preferences while maintaining the traditional steamed preparation methods that define quality otah across Southeast Asia.

Strategic locations at premier shopping destinations including ION Orchard, JEM, NEX Mall, and Tampines Mall have positioned Lee Wee & Brothers as an accessible option for both tourists seeking authentic local cuisine and residents craving familiar comfort foods. The brand's presence in high-traffic retail environments demonstrates the viability of traditional hawker concepts in modern commercial settings, while their comprehensive catering services extend their reach to corporate events and private functions. As a MUIS halal-certified establishment with annual certification renewals, Lee Wee & Brothers maintains strict adherence to Islamic dietary guidelines while serving as an ambassador for Singaporean cuisine, proving that local food traditions can achieve commercial success while preserving cultural authenticity and religious compliance.

Ordered the chicken wing set for takeaway. Service was friendly. Interestingly, their standard set comes with a fish cake instead of an egg, so I had to add on an omelette. I liked that they use normal rice instead of basmati rice. The rice, chilli, and otak were good. I appreciated that they packed the chilli and ikan bilis peanuts separately. The omelette was bland and rubbery, and the fish cake was average. The chicken wing was soggy, so perhaps next time I'll try airfrying it first.

Smells really great! I would like to try it a few times back when visiting Pasir Ris Mall every time. But too bad there's no place for dining in. Finally got one chance to take away before going to work! The nasi lemak is really worth the price and tastes very tasty. The two female staff members are polite as well. I didn't know the otah was included in the nasi lemak, so I ordered another banana leaf fish otah, but I don't regret it as it is really tasty. The spiciness is bearable, just nice. The individual packing of the fried peanuts, anchovies, and sambal is definitely an added point. Will buy again next time if I need to take away.

Craving solid nasi lemak? Lee Wee & Brothers has you covered! I picked up a few packs recently and they were all delicious β€” fragrant coconut rice, flavorful sambal, and well-seasoned sides that hit just right. Portions were generous without being over the top, and everything tasted fresh and well put together. The otah here is also worth a shout β€” super tasty and nicely grilled. It’s a simple, satisfying meal that delivers every time. Definitely a go-to for affordable, tasty local fare πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‘

Still excellent food, but the portions nowadays are so small, like kids' sizes. You must add some side dishes to be full. Still tasty, affordable, and convenient.
