Poor value and taste for the money. Half-boiled eggs were served in a broken paper cup with shells scattered inside. Pepper and soy sauce packets were just dumped into the paper bowl and soaked in egg too! The chicken was too salty and small, and other items were too oily. Overall, very bad!

It must have been over 15 years since I last ate at LJS. The service here is unfriendly; they won't take your order at the counter. Food arrived quickly after ordering at the self-service kiosk. The fish was way too salty and not crispy like before. The coleslaw tasted fine, but I prefer the one from the chicken chain. The tea is from a tea bag. The price is cheap, but I won't be eating here again.

I would like to share a picture of the churros I bought today, which came with sesame dressing instead of chocolate sauce. Does your staff know their products? This is not the first time they've made a mistake, but giving sesame soy dressing for churros is beyond my comprehension. PLEASE CLARIFY!!

Update: Came again today. The fries were overcooked. The fish was DAMN oily and not crispy at all. The fish portion was really small, imagine the fish and chicken being the same size. There was no taste of garlic in the bread, and the bread was soft and cold. This was at the Tampines Long John Silver's. It was really BAD. Different Long John Silver outlets have different standards. The first time I visited LJS in Tampines Mall, I ordered a Golden Deal that came with Alaska Fish & Chicken. The flour coating on the fish and chicken was too thick, so you wouldn't get that crunchy, crispy bite. This second time I tried again, the coating layer was crispy, but it was very salty. Every bite I ate felt like swallowing a small teaspoon of salt. Overall, I will still be back because LJS is my favourite fast food. They have a new promotion as well. The price and food are reasonable and nice.

I recently tried the new chocolate pie from Long Jh Silver, but honestly, it wasn’t really to our liking. The taste didn’t quite match our expectations, and we actually prefer the Hershey’s chocolate pie much more. It’s disappointing that the Hershey’s pie is no longer available, as it was definitely better in our opinion. Hopefully, Long Jh Silver can improve the recipe or bring back the Hershey’s pie soon!

The portions are fair for the price, making it a budget-friendly option for a quick, satisfying meal. If you’re not in the mood for fried food, they also offer grilled choices and rice bowls. Service is efficient, and the food is usually fresh and hot, but the tight seating and crowded atmosphere can make dining in a bit of a squeeze. It’s a decent spot for a quick bite if you’re in the mall, but don’t expect a spacious, relaxed dining experience.

What's wrong with these people? 30 minutes for your meal to arrive? For me, after ordering, I got my 2-piece chicken meal in less than 5 minutes! The chickens were very warm, plus free clam chowder for giving feedback. No ice for the Coke Zero, and it was full to the brim! Look at the restaurant, so many people eating! Jokers, these negative reviews! To that fella, your last time visiting? Good, that's one less person, meaning less crowded!

Surprisingly great improvement when I tried it again last week. Ordered takeaway for the fish and chicken set. The fish was humongous! I believe the team can still improve on the taste of the batter, but the quality of the fish has significantly increased from the last time I visited. The fries could be crispier but are still good. Keep up the good work and continue improving your products.

LJS is located at Level 4 of Tampines Mall. I last had LJS about 9 months ago. I ordered the chicken salad and a soup. The food was okay, but the staff forgot to give me the salad dressing. The salad itself was fresh and tasty, which is a nice option for healthy eating!

Long John Silver's just launched new menu items under the theme ‘American Classic Subs’. I tried both the bratwurst and the dory sandwich, and added the bolognaise chips to go with them. They were average. The dory fish tasted like the usual Long John Silver’s fried fish. The mustard on the bratwurst was a little bit bitter for my tastes. The bolognaise chips got soggy and cold fast, but were rather tasty. Service was pleasant and quick.
