I ordered the basic pepper rice with beef, and my goodness, I snorted out loud at the portion size. The beef slices were incredibly thin and barely covered 60% of the rice. It definitely doesn't fill you up at all.

I've been eating here, but today I had one of my not-so-good experiences. Look at my order – does it look like double beef? Usually, at Novena and Orchard, it's not like this. Such a small serving.

While ordering food, the cook/counter staff was rude, giving us an unwelcoming and impatient look. The food portion was also small. I ordered the trio pepper rice and was only given four chicken cubes, three salmon slices, and three slices of beef that were the size of torn bacon. The miso soup had little to no taste, and the mashed potato had so little sauce that I'd rather they hadn't included any. I will never eat here again if I see the same person working.

The cashier was very rude. When it was my turn to order, the cashier left halfway while I was speaking to him. I initially overlooked that as he seemed busy with other orders. However, when he took my order, he aggressively tapped the screen and gave me an annoyed look. It was clear he was annoyed. When my order was done, he held my food and I was confused why he didn't put it down. So I came closer and asked, "Yes?" Then suddenly I was shouted at, telling me to take my own tray. I was so shocked. Yes, I knew it was my fault for not knowing I was supposed to take the tray, but at least he could have told me nicely. I understand if he had a rough day at work, but that was very unprofessional and so rude. I'm never coming back here again.

Came here around 12:30 PM on June 7th. The food here is decent. Aside from the presence of a rather agitated foreign customer berating a worker for not being able to speak Mandarin (all because she didn’t understand the queue system), everything else was okay. Singapore is a multi-ethnic country, so let’s continue to keep it that way!
