Seoul Garden is a pioneering halal-certified Korean restaurant that has been serving Singapore for over 35 years since 1983, making Korean cuisine accessible to Muslim diners long before the Korean Wave hit the nation. As one of the few Korean barbecue restaurants with official halal certification, Seoul Garden features a unique 2-in-1 proprietary smokeless grill system that allows diners to enjoy both Korean BBQ grilling and hotpot at the same table. With up to 6 outlets island-wide and capacity for 156 diners, the restaurant has established itself as a household name for affordable buffet-style Korean fare.

The restaurant specializes in signature Korean marinated meats including bulgogi chicken, beef slices, and char siew chicken, alongside contemporary Korean seafood dishes such as their Modern Korean Paella with mussels, prawns, squids, and clams. Seoul Garden's Korean-Asian marinades and smokeless grilling system ensure authentic flavors while maintaining halal standards throughout their operations. Their sister chain Seoul Garden HOTPOT offers more affordable Korean mains for budget-conscious diners.

Seoul Garden prioritizes family-friendly dining with complimentary kids buffets on Sundays, senior citizen concessions, and birthday surprises, creating memorable experiences for multi-generational families. The restaurant's three-decade legacy has created countless fond memories of joyful family dinners, establishing Seoul Garden as more than just a restaurant but a cultural institution that bridges Korean culinary traditions with Singapore's diverse Muslim community.

Mainly processed food and some marinated meat. Not really worth the price for the quality of food offered. I remember Seoul Garden being better when I was younger, and we used to patronise an outlet at Bishan Junction 8 which has since closed down.

Pleasant experience at Seoul Garden Tampines today. The cashier was very nice and helpful. The staff were very friendly and efficient in clearing dirty dishes. Thank you Crystal for introducing your special sauce and for helping me scoop ice cream! Best of all, there was no feeling of rush due to any time limit. Will be back next time.

I was impressed that they have an online booking system that works. It sends both SMS and emails for bookings, and then another SMS is sent as a reminder on the day of the reservation. They held an SG60 promotion for seniors at 6++ for Tuesdays from May to June. This is easily the best deal in town. The final price after service and tax was 7.20 SGD. You get a soup-based pot and a hot plate to use. Multiple soup bases were available to choose from: three non-spicy and three spicy. You have to decide at the cashier and make payment before dining. They allowed payment via LifeSg, which I saw later. I paid via credit card. The spread was good with multiple types of marinated meats like chicken, beef, and a small amount of lamb. There was also seafood like prawns, marinated tom yum prawns, lala, mussels, squids, dory fish, etc. Vegetables, enoki mushrooms, and Maggi mee were also available, along with white rice. It was my first time there after about 20 years, so I wasn't too sure what to do. Many diners appeared to be regulars, knowing what to add to their soup for flavour. There were also french fries, a cooked dish with quail eggs and Korean rice cakes in Korean paste, and a cooked prawn and mussels dish. The cooked dishes were kept in small portions, likely because not many people would opt for them. A dining slot seemed to be two hours, which was just about right, although I am a slow eater and had to cook and eat faster. The only hiccup I encountered was the coffee machine dispensing black coffee when I chose latte. I informed a staff member in a blue shirt, who told me to wait and then went to inform a cashier in a red shirt (not Evan). The red-shirted staff member looked busy and didn't follow up. After drinking the kopi O kosong which was supposed to be latte, I switched to Teh Tarik. The teh tarik was working, although it was rather sweet. Before this, a staff member in a red shirt named Evan came to ask if we wanted to switch off the grill and steamboat. My friend and I agreed that this was a subtle hint for us to leave. While drinking my tea, red-shirted Evan came to chat with us again, asking if we enjoyed the session and mentioning that the promotion was very good. I gave him feedback about the coffee machine. He went to examine it and I saw him adding creamer into the machine. My friend and I concluded that the chatting was another signal for us to leave. I quickly finished my drink and was getting ready to leave when red-shirted Evan suddenly reappeared to bring me a cup of latte. This was a nice gesture, and he told me not to rush and to finish the coffee. It was a very nice gesture. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would probably return to dine again soon. Edit: Visited again on 10 Jun 25. No red-shirted Evan around to chat with or ask for a review. However, a blue-shirted staff member did go around to conduct a survey about how we knew about the promotion. Everything went well, except the coffee machine was out of creamer again. No one came to bother us to hint that it was time to leave. Edit: 24 Jun 25. I am grateful to red-shirted Sam for getting us a table during off-peak hours after I placed my name on the waiting list. Today, the staff were quite busy, though, and we had to change the BBQ paper ourselves. I noticed at least two other tables also DIY-ing the BBQ paper.

I took my parents to Seoul Garden Tampines for their SG60 dining promo. It was a pleasant experience. Special shout out to Evan, who was extremely attentive. All staff were friendly and helpful. Refills were quick, and the selection was substantial. We will definitely visit this outlet again. It's definitely a real deal – three seniors for a total of $21.60, but do remember to make your reservations!

The service during my visit was fast and efficient. The staff were all friendly, and one of them, Crystal, took the time to recommend and make dipping sauces and enoki beef wraps for us.
