I visited your Woods Square outlet on 1st Feb at 11 AM and had a disappointing experience. The staff did not greet me and had an unfriendly expression. Before I could even place my order, she asked her colleague what I was going to order while squatting down, seemingly expecting me to just say it. I didn’t even know if she was busy, and the situation felt unwelcoming.
I hope this can be improved for better customer service.

The worst staff ever at the waffle station. On my first visit at 7:55 pm, the staff said the waffle station was closed. I returned another day at 7:35 pm, and the staff again said it was closed. I pointed to the sign indicating the waffle station closes at 8 pm, with no last order timing specified. Unlike the branch at 888 Plaza, which clearly states last order times, this branch seems to close the waffle station early for cleanup. Given that the branch closes at 9 pm, it feels like the staff simply wanted to close early. Eventually, the staff did make a waffle for me, but it tasted bad. This was likely because the heat pan had already been turned off for closing, resulting in an undercooked waffle.

One of the better batters around – strong pandan flavour, thick and chewy waffles with a generous dollop of peanut butter. (The cheese wasn’t great, just a single slice, but don’t let that stop you if that’s what you want). However, if you’re looking for crispy waffles, this isn’t it.

I generally don't eat bread as I find the buns and cakes sold by most bakeries to be below standard – they have a hard texture, are loaded with unhealthy ingredients like processed food, are overly sweet, not filling, and overpriced. However, their delicious mochi bread is one of the few buns I would eat. The mochi, sweet potato, or yam fillings are very unique and not overly sweet (I also like Gokoku's Chocolate bun, Provence's Milkpan, Four Leaves' Snow Blanc, and Yamazaki's Garlic Cream Cheese / wholemeal loaf!). It's still good, but the price has increased from $2 plus to $3 each now.
