I normally love their breakfast sets, but the National Day one pales in comparison. The eggs were microwaved and a bit overdone. The bread was a bit soggy and soft, and you could hardly taste the butter. I recommend you go to Ya Kun or Toast Box for a better and more authentic local breakfast.

The Malay manager at this outlet has a serious attitude problem. In fact, I would say the entire staff lacks proper service standards.
I dined in at Coffee Bean and waited 35 minutes for my food and drink. My drink was left unattended at the counter for so long that it became diluted. As for the food, the pasta was terribly undercooked with a hard texture, and the portion was so small it seemed like a kid’s meal. The matcha pistachio latte tasted like plain milk with matcha, with just a few sad bits of pistachio.
I raised my concerns with management and was given a complimentary voucher, but I couldn’t use it due to their overly complicated and frustrating app. When I went back, I encountered the same rude Malay manager, who just stood there blankly after a part-timer couldn’t resolve the issue.
Respect goes both ways. I paid for my food and drinks, and I should receive proper customer service in return.
Seriously will not patronise again.

Bought a takeaway hot chai tea latte, and it tasted so diluted that there was no chai taste at all, just purely milk with only a bit of tea taste, making it very bland. The standard has just superbly dropped. Hope they improve and follow the SOP properly.

Visited the newly renovated place on 02 Nov. I made my order at the counter at 21:37 for 'having here', but ended up receiving my complete order by ~22:30. I requested for 'takeaway' instead since I had been waiting for so long. I understand they were overwhelmed by the crowd as the outlet was almost full when I arrived, but an hour's wait was undoubtedly too long.
Also, we need to stop advocating for people to be studying or working at CBTL on a weekend when it's crowded. Are these people blind to not see others looking for seats? Please take your work elsewhere if you're going to be hogging seats for over 60 minutes. It's worse when some solo individuals sit at a table for four. I literally cannot comprehend this behaviour.
