This afternoon, I ordered a hot caramel cappuccino. I told your unfriendly staff that I wanted it for takeaway. When I received my coffee and wanted to add sugar, it was only half full! Imagine unfriendly staff plus a drink that's half empty... Wow, what a day.

I've been patronizing this branch almost every weekend for over two years as my child attends enrichment classes at Leisure Park. It's one of the better cafes in Leisure Park in terms of cleanliness and ambience, being bright and spacious. My purpose for this comment is to send a message to the person in charge of CBTL's breakfast menu. Your current breakfast offerings are no better than a fast-food restaurant. I get more food by dissecting a Subway sub. The quality and portion have been getting worse over the years. With the recent price increase, I'm expecting more from CBTL for a breakfast platter worth $16.20 (attached pic, both sets cost $16.20). I suggest you could add another piece of ham, one more slice of bread, or some baked beans to make it a more hearty meal. That would also make customers feel less shortchanged. Please bring back the hash browns to your breakfast platter; the canned fruit bites are disappointing.

The quality of the coffee beans has deteriorated drastically over the years. Apart from the regular brew, which is average at best, the food menu has little to offer except microwaved products. The pasta and pizza were tasteless and extremely oily (we ordered Hawaiian and Tomato & Pesto Spaghetti), and, as you guessed it, microwaved. The over-the-counter service was non-existent, as the staff seemed severely overworked, with only three staff juggling being the cashier, barista, and "cook." Oh, and the cleaner too, but it's apparent no one could take on that role, which meant there were dirty plates lying around. I remember a couple of years ago when the menu offered items such as Benedict eggs, which were of much better quality. Unfortunately, those are now gone.

A spacious place for coffee. Getting the large-sized drinks was more worth it, as the difference from the small size was only $0.30. I had the mini Christmas log cake, which was nice.

Had a mixed experience. While the manager's service was commendable and they were very helpful, the rest of the staff seemed unmotivated and inattentive. Several times, I found myself waiting at the cashier for someone to take my order, but the staff ignored me. This significantly detracted from the overall experience. It's unfortunate because the store has potential, but the staff's attitude needs improvement. The food was good and tasty.

The renovated CBTL is great, bright, and airy. The seats are still far apart, unlike most cafes that have cramped in more tables/chairs. Great service as the cashier was smiling when he took our orders. Most importantly, the Latte came with coffee art! If you read my previous comment, I was very disappointed with Starbucks; their Latte topping was just a stack of foam. The muffins were moist and yummy! Keep up the great food and service, CBTL Kallang!! Thumbs up!!

Coffee and tea are standard TCB experiences. Service is generally good. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, the staff were visibly busy and the place was 90% full. Consequently, some tables were not cleared, and we had to clear them ourselves, which was fine. The yuzu chrysanthemum cake was good.

Excellent service. It was around 9 pm and the coffee sizes were too big for my friend and myself. They kindly allowed us to share one Americano and made it into two cups for us. The outlet is very clean and the staff are very attentive.
