The experience I had at this outlet is unacceptable, but there was this staff member named Mark. He was the only one serving us most of the time. For a buffet, you will need more than four floor staff. By cutting manpower, this is the result you get, leading to numerous disappointed customers who patronize the restaurant. Honestly speaking, Mark was the one constantly running around assisting us and other customers. Even though the food is great, I will patronize this restaurant again only when things change. As for the plates and etc., you should be hiring dishwashers and adding more part-timers if possible. Your new manager, Kitti, is trying her best to manage the buffet, but I think she should stick to her old branch. The way I see it, Mark is the one most of the time clearing tables and etc. It would be better to have someone who knows how to manage a buffet. She seldom clears tables too. Just a short feedback, the dish rack outside is in the wrong position. Plus, maybe you can change the sliding door to a sliding glass type if you want to keep the dish rack in its current position, as it's hard for someone to take the pail from below the buffet station to dispose of the water.

I've been coming here quite often, but things have changed since they revamped the menu. My usual chicken teriyaki with rice and tartar sauce is gone. They also no longer have a lunch promo menu.
I ordered at 1:05 PM, and my food arrived at 1:25 PM.
There were a lot of flies.
The customer service skills were lacking. No 'thank you' or any pleasantries.
I won't be coming back again.
Please close soon.

After a long afternoon walk, we were all feeling peckish. This wasn't the eatery we originally wanted to visit in Waterway Point, a very busy mall on weekends. However, as it was the only place we could find a table, we decided to try it. I wouldn't call this a "true" Japanese restaurant, but rather an adapted halal version, as no pork was served. Most of the ramens came with chicken char siu or what looked like canned "scallops," and the soup base had spicy options like Tom Yum flavors.
My Beef Suki Toki set was very average; the beef was fatty and tasted a bit like it came from a frozen pack. The à la carte option for this dish meant no rice was included, so we had to add $3 for rice and salad/miso soup (as rice alone would also cost $3, according to the waitress). My dining partner enjoyed her chicken char siu ramen more, as she liked the chicken. My other companions tried the Ebi and Namban Chicken Tempura on rice and gave varying reviews; one felt it was average and nothing to shout about, while the other gave it rave reviews, liking how the taste came together with the combination of the sauce, soup, and the seafood and meat.

Ordered the set meal which included spicy cha shu ramen, cha shu soba, and fried rice.
The soba and fried rice were pretty good. However, I found the broth for the spicy ramen a bit bland. The sides were only decent.
Service staff were friendly, and I'm giving 4 stars for that.

Brought my mom for lunch to this outlet. We ordered the buffet options. The food, while value for money, was limited in options. Drinks were free flow for an additional price of $1.90. What really stood out was a middle-aged man. For most of the time, he was the only one walking around all the tables as if inspecting the diners' behavior. Despite speaking to him multiple times in English, he simply refused to reply in English and would respond in Mandarin. Seeing as he was the only server walking about, we were left with no other choice but to interact with him. He did not come across as willing to serve us or anyone else in this eatery. When we were done and about to pay, I even overheard another customer scolding him for his bad service attitude in Mandarin. Had it been solely on his service, I would never subject my family or friends to ever having to eat at this outlet again. I thought I could get his name off the receipt, but he had logged in as 'emenu'. And he had pinned his name tag on his pocket so that it tilted down towards the floor, making it impossible for anyone to get his name. Please address this server's attitude.
