Paid $5.50 for a chocolate cheese (or cheese chocolate) roti. I was disappointed when the cheese was just sprinkled on top of the toast with the chocolate rice. There was no flavour of cheese, but rather the flavour of the fridge/chiller? I did not enjoy the raw texture of the cheese on my toast. I do like how the toast is carefully decorated, but the taste of the chocolate spread (filling) and the taste of the chocolate rice (topping) didn't seem to gel for me.
The packaging is fantastic for a gift as it protects the toast securely, but it's an extravagance for our eat-and-throw. Perhaps opt for an environmentally friendly tray/box without the lid for dine-in customers? The cost savings could also be shared with the customers, and we would be very happy.
Will visit again to try the rice. Love the names of your food items! We had lots of fun reading them and laughing. We have never studied a menu so hard before. Like the self-order kiosk too; it's one of the more user-friendly ones.

Waited almost 30 minutes just for a 2-piece Gardenia bread to be toasted and almost burnt, with Nutella on it, for a whopping $7.50? Could have used the money to buy my own Nutella tub, lol. Waste of money, to be honest.

Wayang used to serve decent portions that actually filled one's tummy, justifying the price and leaving customers satisfied. But today's experience was truly disappointing. The portion I received was pathetic. The rice looked like just three tablespoons, barely enough for a child, let alone an adult. I paid $11.20 for this, and even added $1 for tofu, which came in a size smaller than my fist. Seriously? For that price, the value is simply not there anymore. Standards have dropped drastically. Absolutely incorrigible. I am still so hungry after the pathetic meal 😞

I'm not trying to be difficult, but this was so bad. The only reason I liked it and even gave it a rating was because of the original flavor combination – like Kraft cheese + chocolate rice is ultimate comfort.
But seriously, the bread was barely toasted, or I don't even think it was toasted at all. It was more like liquid butter on two pieces of stale bread. The cheese and chocolate, you can literally see how it isn't melted at all. 😩
Plus, I don't know why it took so long. I can wait at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights queue in a onesie in Singapore's humid weather, but no way this took 10 minutes plus for cold, stale, barely melted, and what was supposed to be comforting classic food.
I apologize; I really just wanted a childhood classic, but this was super disappointing.

Food: 0.5/2
The portion sizes for the calamari and rice were generous. However, the overall quality was disappointing. The Salted Egg Calamari Set lacked the distinctive salted egg flavor, and the meal was excessively oily, with the rice soaked in oil at the bottom of the box.
Price: 0.5/1
At $10 for the calamari, it was reasonably priced. The shop’s menu offers items ranging from $8 to $14, making it a relatively affordable option.
Customer Service: 0.5/1
The self-order kiosk meant there was minimal interaction with staff, so nothing notable about the service experience.
