Dabba Street is a MUIS halal-certified fast-casual Indian-Mediterranean fusion restaurant that has taken Singapore by storm, founded by Adrian — the same entrepreneur behind Stuff'd. The name "Dabba" means Indian lunchbox, and "Street" represents global street-food culture. The brand's tagline, "Reimagined Indian and Mediterranean flavours, fusing them together with a green and refreshing twist," captures its innovative approach. All dishes are prepared with no ghee, no heavy oils, no added MSG, and no artificial colours or flavours, making Dabba Street a healthy yet flavourful halal dining option.

The menu is built around five customisable formats. The Biryani ($10.60) comes with your choice of protein, one "Not Only Curry" dip, two toppings, and two dressings on fragrant biryani rice with shredded lettuce. The Dabba Bowl ($11.50) offers half specialty rice and half crisp fresh vegetables with one curry, four toppings, and two dressings — the Butter Chicken Dabba Bowl is the most popular item. The Pita ($8.90) features grilled pita with tzatziki, protein, and crisp vegetables. The Biryarito ($8.90) — a registered trademark — is Dabba Street's viral signature: a whole-meal wrap combining biryani rice, protein, vegetables, cheese, and dressings in a biryani-burrito fusion that has gone viral on social media.

Protein options include Butter Chicken, Baked Chicken Tikka, Grilled Chicken (Mediterranean-style), Handcrafted Falafel, Oven Roasted Vegetable, and Indian-style Fried Tofu. The "Not Only Curry" add-ons range from Tikka Masala ($2) to Mint Chutney, Garlic Aioli, Tzatziki, Beetroot Hummus, and Pineapple Habanero sauce — the latter two being fan favourites. Toppings include cumin glazed carrot, chaat-baked potato, shredded mozzarella, red cheddar, egg mayo, and more. Sides like Onion Bhaji ($4) round out the menu.

Dabba Street currently operates eight outlets: Jurong Point (#01-31 JP2), AMK Hub (#01-36), Tiong Bahru Plaza (#B1-K06), White Sands Pasir Ris (#B1-K02), Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (#02-17 Tower A), One@KentRidge (#01-01), Sun Plaza (#01-23), and Bugis Junction. Most outlets operate 10am-10pm daily. The brand is actively expanding with new outlets opening throughout 2025. Delivery is available on GrabFood, Deliveroo, and Foodpanda. With its viral Biryarito, generous portions, and $8-$12 price range, Dabba Street has earned a 4.5/5 CaterSpot rating and 4.3/5 HungryCat rating, making it one of Singapore's hottest halal dining spots.

I always love eating at Dabba Street (Indian cuisine), but this happened to my colleague today on my behalf. So far, I haven't encountered this before. My colleague found a worm on the broccoli and left it at the side of the packed box. They told me about it after lunch.

I went to Dabba Street to order the butter chicken bowl around 9pm. You can choose 4 toppings, and one of mine was Onion Bhaji. When they finished packing my order, I took a quick look to see if all my toppings were included correctly. I noticed the onion bhaji seemed to be missing. I saw that the wok for the onion bhaji was empty, so I wondered if they had run out and forgotten to put it in. I asked the Chinese lady staff if she had managed to put it in. She then asked another lady staff if she had put the onion bhaji inside, and the latter replied 'yes'. So, I didn't doubt it then. When I got home and opened the bowl, I saw that the onion bhaji wasn't there. If there wasn't any onion bhaji left, you could have just let me change to another topping instead of lying to my face. I know it was close to closing time, but this is not the right way to handle things.

I love this store, the food, and the flavors. But recently, they've decreased their portion sizes. It used to fill all the way to the top, and now it's less than half the bowl.

Two stars for the taste, which was all good. But what about the quality and quantity? Ordered Baked Chicken Tikka Biryani + extra chicken tikka via Grab on 10/09/2025 at 12pm. Received everything except: - The extra chicken added on was given, but it was very, very dry with no gravy at all. - Even the chicken mixed with the rice was super dry and lacked gravy. I asked for extra because the taste was good, but ended up eating it dry. - The vegetables were very, very little; I could count them. And while I was chewing the broccoli, there was a sandy feeling? Was it not clean? - Lettuce? Hardly seen. I thought it came with the set, but... I bought it before, and they gave a generous amount of lettuce. - Requested gravy, but received none. Previously, I was given extra, and there was generous gravy on the rice itself. The price is not cheap, yet the food is not as promising. This is not my first time experiencing this. When they first started the business, everything was perfectly fine. But after a while, it's getting bad? It literally ruined my mood to eat. I really hope the boss truly sees how their staff are performing. And I don't think I'm the only one experiencing this.

I've seen many reviews about staff prepping incorrect orders or leaving out sides/toppings, but I chose to ignore these warnings and now I've suffered the same fate. I ordered pumpkins, carrots, chickpeas, and green peas for my toppings and only realised at home that they didn't give me the pumpkins. Given all the reviews, this issue isn't a random incident of staff oversight – it's a systemic problem. Disappointed, angry, and frustrated. I want my money back for the pumpkin 😞

Got the biryani chicken burrito. Butter chicken and tikka masala. The size is a little small as a meal, especially compared to Stuffd. The choice of sides is also very lackluster, only allowing one onion bhaji. The food is good, I guess. The butter chicken is the Singaporean kind, sweet and savoury, the way I like it. It was very oniony due to the onion bhaji, which was decently crispy too. It had some very strong clove taste, I don't know from what, but I didn't really like it. The grill on the burrito is very appealing, as seen in the image. The meat is definitely tastier than Stuffd. Also, the garlic aioli was only really put on one side. Next, the food is not very fresh; it just sits out in the open for a long time, which isn't very cool. Lastly, this dish was jelat (cloying), damn heavy. It probably needs some acidity to balance the flavours better. Overall, a decent alternative when you are sick of Stuffd. To be honest, I still prefer Stuffd; it's more filling with just a compromise on some flavour (never thought I'd say this).

EDIT: Customer service rectified the issue within a week, providing a QR code to claim a meal. I have adjusted the stars/score. Thanks, team. Original review: Ordered takeaway for dinner, but when I got home and checked my bowl, there was no chicken in my Grilled Chicken Dabba Bowl. Dated: 20250407 Order Number #982 I will go back to the outlet tomorrow to see if there's any resolution. For $8.80, this is not something that can be overlooked if the protein is missing.

I had a wonderful time! As it was my first time trying and I needed more time to decide, Matthew, who was serving me, was very helpful, patient, and informative! The food portions are definitely worth the price, and the food is nice! I noticed Matthew was very helpful and polite to all the customers who came while I was enjoying dinner there! His happy and helpful spirit definitely added more vibes to the food served there! I would definitely come back with friends to be served by him again. Thank you!
