Surprisingly large menu for a local kopi shop. Besides the standard kaya toast set, their menu includes many variations of other local favorites like laksa and mee siam, and even Thai boat noodles and much more! We ordered two bowls of Thai beef boat noodles, one bowl of beef brisket and tendon soup that came with a bowl of brown rice, and three kopis. The bill worked out to slightly over $30. Everything we ordered tasted okay. Very standard, but definitely not bad. Just nothing special. Still a great option for a quick and satisfying meal.

I always have coffee and toast every time I come for an appointment. Sometimes the service is too bad. I know staff are very busy, but you are working in customer service. The food is wonderful....

This appears to be a management issue. The staff are either not well-trained for morning crowds, or something happened on the morning of December 31st, 2021. The queue was long, and on average, it took 5 minutes to serve one customer. This location is in a hospital area, where people are often in a rush. Being 6th in the queue meant a 30-minute wait just to place an order. I can only imagine the preparation time for food is even longer... this is not acceptable.

I ordered the Boat Noodle Deluxe, which came with beef slices, brisket, tendon, and beef balls. The food was good, except for the brisket served. It was cut too thick and cooked hard to the point it was inedible. The soup's taste was also inconsistent compared to my previous visit.

The coffee is burnt and the proportions are wrong; the iced teh C has no teh taste at all. The beef noodles and beef ball noodles are just MSG in hot water. Never again.

Personally, this restaurant has one of the best (and affordable) beef noodle soup options near this area. Their Thai boat beef/chicken noodle soup has a soy sauce base and is just very rich and nice in flavour. I'll crave their soup once in a while, and in fact, I haven't tried other restaurants elsewhere that have this soup taste yet. Recommended!

A decent place for your all-day coffee or tea fix. The Otah Bun is just nice for a light breakfast. The soft-boiled eggs are slightly undercooked. Kopi C is not bad.

The Thai beef boat noodle deluxe is definitely the best choice. The kaya butter toast is just simply meh. It’s too thick and not crispy at all. I can’t taste the buttery feeling either. The boat noodle, on the other hand, is a wee bit spicy by default, with a sharp aroma and definitely a flavorful soup. The beef is quite thick, and I wonder why they don’t just cut it up a little more. Tendons are plentiful too. The portion is definitely worth the price point of $10.90, and you don’t need a drink because the soup is all you need. Food preparation took less than 10 minutes, and today was surprisingly not crowded during lunchtime.

A frequent lunch spot for those in the Kent Ridge area – there can be quite a queue during weekday lunch periods! The great thing about this outlet is that it offers brown rice (unlike other outlets which offer only white rice). Not sure about other dishes, but for the beef deluxe that I normally order, you have to tell the cashier staff when placing your order that you do not want any chilli (if you don't take spicy food). Otherwise, it's automatically added. Staff are quite friendly – both the cashiers and those serving at the take-away sections. Great option overall!

It's a must to have our meal here whenever we have NUH appointments. We have tried most of the dishes and absolutely love the variation of noodles. They have all-time comfort local favourites like mee rebus, mee siam & laksa. All are flavourful, and you wouldn't regret it. Every time I have their mee rebus, it reminds me of my old days at my school canteen. The taste is awesomely shiok! The next must-try is their signature Beef Boat Noodle, which comes with wonderfully tender beef and beef balls, complemented by a light and tasty broth. There are chili flakes & fish sauce available to give an additional kick to the taste! The price range is between Sgd$5 plus to $10 plus. The huge portion is definitely worth the price! Highly recommended! The cafe is situated near the MRT station and NUH, so do expect it to be crowded during lunchtime/peak hours. But their service is fast though!
