Kaffe & Toast is the halal-certified subsidiary of the popular Coffee & Toast brand, specifically launched to provide delicious traditional Singaporean breakfast sets in a cozy environment for busy working executives and Muslim diners. With multiple outlets including locations at Eunos Road and Woodlands Civic Centre, the restaurant serves as an accessible alternative for those seeking halal-certified versions of classic Singaporean breakfast fare. The establishment maintains MUIS halal certification, ensuring compliance with Islamic dietary requirements.
The restaurant's signature offering is their Kaya Butter Toast, described as "a crispy, golden treat slathered with rich kaya and butter," available as part of Set A which includes 2 softboiled eggs and choice of drink. Beyond their famous kaya toast, the menu has evolved to include all-day local favorites such as Chicken Rendang, Mee Rebus, Laksa, and Mee Siam, alongside Thai boat noodles and rice dishes that cater to diverse taste preferences throughout the day.
Kaffe & Toast successfully bridges traditional coffeeshop culture with modern halal dining requirements, making iconic Singaporean breakfast experiences accessible to Muslim consumers. Their expansion beyond breakfast items demonstrates adaptability to customer needs while maintaining the authentic flavors that define Singapore's hawker heritage. The restaurant's cozy environment and strategic locations make it a convenient choice for both quick breakfast stops and leisurely meals throughout the day.

Ordered set A with kopi, less sweet. Only the kopi came. There was no apology, and all that was said was 'it's okay'. I'm a working individual and I have timing to eat. It's sad to have to deal with this. After explaining, I was hoping for a simple sorry, instead of blaming my staff for not knowing my order. My staff came after me.

1. Bad customer service from the staff preparing toasted bread; they were very rude towards customers.
2. The pager was faulty, causing inconvenience. I had to go back and forth three times just to collect my food!
3. The kaya spread was dry, not evenly spread, and in small solid pieces.

Sadly, the quality of the centrally supplied food is at best edible on some days, and on others, it's outright 90s army cookhouse standard. There's only so much the outlet staff can do to improve on the food. Please, Ma Mum, do something about it. It's quite frankly embarrassing.

Absolutely ridiculous service experience.
Went to Kaffe & Toast at Our Tampines Hub and asked for a simple, specific request: “teh o di lo” (tea with no milk, no sugar, more concentrated). Not only did the staff refuse to make it, they even had the audacity to say “nobody drinks like that.”
Excuse me? Just because you don’t drink it that way doesn’t mean other people can’t. Many local drinks have variations — “di lo” is a legitimate way to order a stronger brew. If other stalls can do it, why can’t you?
It’s not rocket science — just leave out sugar and make the tea stronger. How hard is that?
This kind of rigid, dismissive attitude shows zero understanding of customer service. You’re running a food & beverage outlet — not some elite coffee academy. If you can’t accommodate simple, doable requests, maybe you shouldn’t be in the F&B business at all.
Definitely not coming back. Bad attitude, no flexibility, and zero respect for customers. Plenty of better places around the area.

In contrast to other reviews, I've eaten here twice over three years and have enjoyed my experience each time. I had the beef noodles, and my partner had the mee siam. Both were good in taste, and the portion size was generous too! I would definitely return. The kopi bing I had was also alright.

I loved their mee rebus and laksa; they are very flavourful. I have tried their Chicken Delight version but felt nothing special. The normal version is good enough and delicious.

The traditional Kopi Kau is good, brewed by the aunties.
Mee Rebus beef is also good; the beef and brisket are soft and tender.
The Thai boat noodles are good as well. Serving the Honey Lemon in a bigger cup is a nice touch.
I'm not sure why other reviews are so negative.

One of the best Singapore laksa in town, with a generous serving and plenty of ingredients. Rich with coconut milk, the soup was sweet and not too spicy. The beef brisket soup with rice is tangy yet deliciously spicy with lots of meat. Seating is limited and a bit cramped.
