The young male staff member was very rude and impatient. He made no effort to explain how many to choose and simply pointed for me to read myself. His gestures were poor, and he looked at me impatiently, urging me to choose faster. He even sighed loudly (tsk) when I asked what an ingredient was. He didn't listen and even chose the wrong ingredients. I am very upset about this, as I am one of your supporters. This is the first time I've encountered such rudeness from your staff. Super disrespectful!
Why work front-end when you are this rude?

I visited Poke Theory at Kent Ridge two weeks ago during lunchtime and took away a light bowl with sushi rice. As I was nearly finished with my meal back in the office, I spotted a live, crawling worm in the bowl (refer to the attached picture and video).
I suspect it originated from one of the toppings I ordered, including cherry tomatoes, seaweed, carrot, cucumber, and sweet potato mash. I am utterly disgusted by this discovery and expected better hygiene standards from Poke Theory.
I was in distress and shock, and immediately emailed Poke Theory about this discovery. However, it's been more than two weeks and I have yet to receive a reply from them. Honestly, I'm quite disappointed as I have been a long-time customer of Poke Theory. I have not visited them since either.

Love Poke Theory for their free-flow sauce bar and crunches. However, specifically at the Kent Ridge store, the availability of crunches varies every time I visit, and the staff do not top them up once they've run out. They'll just tell you that they don't put the crunches out anymore, but upon your next visit, you might see them on display again. I'm not sure if it's just the staff who don't want to refill the free-flow bar.

I've always liked Poke Theory as a healthy, halal option to go to with colleagues. However, the menu has changed a bit recently, so next time I may opt for the build-your-own bowl. My go-to has always been the Mentaiko Madness, but I prefer the original version without the kimchi, as there are now too many strong flavours. I miss the beetroot and pineapple too. :(
