Quite surprised that Delifrance actually uses cheap Chinese mushrooms (or shiitake) for all their mushroom dishes. I first tried the mushroom pasta at the Yew Tee outlet and now the cheese mushroom sandwich at TPY. Mushrooms aren't that expensive compared to other meat ingredients, are they?

It was a weekend afternoon, and after running my errands, my family and I came here for afternoon tea. The place was quite crowded, but we managed to get a table as some diners were leaving. This was not our first visit here (but my first review).
The queue was quite long, so service was slow. I noticed some tables were not cleared by staff promptly either, possibly due to a lack of manpower. Due to the limited space, tables were arranged very close to one another, possibly to maximize seating space.
We ordered tuna croissants, fruit tarts, and iced lemon tea. As a croissant lover, I must say they were nice, soft, and fluffy, with generous portions. The fruit tart was yummy too, and the iced tea was refreshing and great, as it was sunny and warm outside.
The food was consistently good and nice. The only drawback was the slow service. Hopefully, when the renovation work is done, it will be more spacious with better service.

The place was very warm and the staff were pretty rude, especially when I was mixing my drink because I didn't buy it from their store, even though I did purchase other items from the place. The food definitely isn't worth the price I paid, especially with the service. Yes, I had to buy a separate drink.
