Long queue at this Korean store. Ramyun 3/5 Tried the ramyun here (forgot to take a picture). Found it average. They cook it with kimchi, which is good, but the soup turns too sour :( Porridge 1/5 Very plain tasting porridge. It has corn in it, which makes it sweet. Not a fan of this combination.

AWFUL SERVICE The restaurant needs to improve its customer service skills. Two unhappy and rude ladies (both wearing caps, not the Malay aunty) simply won't cut it and will guarantee a non-repeat customer. Raising your voice at customers plus an eye-roll is not acceptable. Food was subpar - nothing to shout about. The salmon was very thin. The order number screen has a very loud timer which is very annoying. Lower it down so that customers can actually have a proper conversation, and secondly, that annoying bell ring which they keep pressing! Will not recommend this place solely based on those two rude, cap-wearing ladies.

We were at the counter, making payment. The bill was correct. When we handed over the cash and received the balance, the change was wrong. The cashier mistakenly overcharged us. When we pointed it out, she immediately said she had already keyed it into the system, closed her account, and insisted on not refunding. She asked us to order more to cover the difference. What an exploitative business practice.

You called this kimchi pancake??? It's totally different from the photo on the menu. When I received this plate, I even confirmed with the clerk. She responded, "Sure, this is kimchi pancake, what??". Terrible taste and awful service, not worth a try.

Tasty Korean food in “The Basement”. It’s centrally located in the CBD area, beside Lau Pa Sat and near Hong Leong Building. It’s an air-conditioned food court, but be prepared to wait for food preparation, around 30 minutes after ordering. Love the Saba fish and spicy beef ramen noodles. Muslim friendly as it’s halal (please check). Highly recommended for Korean food lovers.

The Korean food here is delicious and affordable. It's air-conditioned, but expect to wait about half an hour during lunchtime. The kimchi soup, ramen, and bibimbap are also nice. Highly recommended, and I will revisit to try other dishes again.

Another restaurant at The Basement Food Court, across from Lau Pa Sat. Another winner! I had the Korean porridge with what tasted like Korean Beef Bulgogi for $6.50, and my colleague had a ramyeon dish. Not only affordable but quite yummy! Try it for your lunch in the CBD area.
