Extremely poor service at the Seletar Mall outlet on 5 Aug 2025 at 17:40. I placed a takeaway order for Beef Ramen and Fried Dumplings with a staff member, but she incorrectly entered 'Ramen Dumpling' instead. When I returned at 17:45 to clarify, she blamed me for the error and responded rudely, saying I should 'order properly next time.' Her attitude throughout was unprofessional. She interrupted, showed negative body language, and dismissed my questions about pricing. I was short-changed $1.30; when I pointed this out, she tossed a $1 coin on the counter without speaking, which felt disrespectful. Additionally, she called her colleague 'stupid' during my initial order, further reflecting poor conduct. This experience left me upset and concerned about customer treatment at your establishment. I hope this matter will be investigated and appropriate steps taken to improve staff behavior and customer service.

Tried the ramyun here (forgot to take a picture). Found it average. They cook it with kimchi, which is good, but the soup turns too sour :(

Very plain tasting porridge. It has corn in it, which makes it sweet. Not a fan of this combination.

AWFUL SERVICE
The restaurant needs to improve its customer service skills. Two unhappy and rude ladies (both wearing caps, not the Malay aunty) simply won't cut it and will guarantee a non-repeat customer. Raising your voice at customers plus an eye-roll is not acceptable.
Food was subpar - nothing to shout about. The salmon was very thin.
The order number screen has a very loud timer which is very annoying. Lower it down so that customers can actually have a proper conversation, and secondly, that annoying bell ring which they keep pressing!
Will not recommend this place solely based on those two rude, cap-wearing ladies.

We were at the counter, making payment. The bill was correct. When we handed over the cash and received the balance, the change was wrong. The cashier mistakenly overcharged us. When we pointed it out, she immediately said she had already keyed it into the system, closed her account, and insisted on not refunding. She asked us to order more to cover the difference. What an exploitative business practice.

The food was honestly really good, but the service was disappointing. The lady at the counter had a really bad attitude. We were already standing right in front of her, but she just kept playing with her phone. When we asked her a question, she sounded super impatient and annoyed. It really ruined the whole experience. With service like that, I honestly wouldn’t want to come back.

First attempt at the Korean restaurant, and I ordered the kimchi beef noodles and tofu soup with rice. Pretty decent for a small setup in the mall. They also accept FavPay/PayLah!.

Tasty Korean food in “The Basement”. It’s centrally located in the CBD area, beside Lau Pa Sat and near Hong Leong Building. It’s an air-conditioned food court, but be prepared to wait for food preparation, around 30 minutes after ordering. Love the Saba fish and spicy beef ramen noodles. Muslim friendly as it’s halal (please check). Highly recommended for Korean food lovers.
