Hanis Café & Bakery, located at Eastpoint Mall in Simei, Singapore, is a halal-certified eatery offering a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The café provides a selection of Western set meals, pasta dishes, local favorites, and Hainanese specialties such as Chicken Curry and Chicken Stew. Generous portions make it a suitable spot for casual dining. For instance, the breakfast set with scrambled eggs is nice, complemented by friendly service. The food taste is average. We tried Fish and Chips and chicken fried rice, which is our most favourite from Hanis. Other items on the menu are average in taste. I feel the price has increased significantly at Hanis. Hanis Bakery at Eastpoint Mall has a variety of baked goods, cakes, pastries, and puffs. While some menu items are average, the overall dining experience is positive.

We had lunch at Hanis today and ordered the curry chicken set and beef stew set. The curry chicken was too starchy, sweet, and salty for my liking. It would be better if the curry chicken were more spicy and less starchy. It was a good deal for a set lunch, coming with cream of chicken soup, bread, and a drink. It was definitely very filling. Overall, the set meal was a weird combination for me (creamy and starchy).

I ordered Hor Fun and requested for the noodles and soup to be separated. However, I only received the soup with no noodles. I tried calling Hanis through the mobile number provided, but the call was immediately cut off.

Was here for a Monday breakfast. Honestly, it wasn't the best choice at Eastpoint and was quite disappointing. The mushroom soup was bland, and the bread that came with it was hard as stone. The toasts and scrambled egg breakfast set were nondescript. The triangular bread felt like ordinary Gardenia lightly brushed with butter. The only consolation was that they used large eggs and there was a good portion of scrambled eggs. The price was too expensive. I had to sit near the main corridor to get closer to the air-conditioning. Ya Kun or Toast Box would be a much better choice.

An unassuming place with no fancy stuff, but I simply love the quality of things here! I especially love the tarts and often order the lemon meringue tart for home gatherings. It's also my go-to place if I'm around the area.

For the price point and location, the yummy tarts are really value for money. I love the crisp crust that’s not overly buttery and oily. We bought Yuzu sesame, lemon meringue, salted caramel, and apple pie. Loved all 4 flavours! Excited to try other flavours next time. Please note the shop does not accept credit card / Paywave.

Very generous portions of beef stew! Tastes as it should. Four giant chunks of beef and a thick gravy, plus carrots and potatoes, make this a very hearty meal. Kudos to the chef! Hits the spot! For only $14.80.
