Once considered the best chicken, I can’t say the same now. We arrived at 8pm, were seated immediately, and the food was served quickly. However, the chicken was cold, the mac and cheese were hard, and the sautéed vegetables were undercooked. More importantly, at least to me, the muffin is now half the size. There was only one service staff on the floor, and she seemed overwhelmed. I had to go to the cashier to request chili sauce. The air conditioning appeared to be malfunctioning, as the place felt stuffy.

Got this with a Grab deal offer. I feel that it's okay after the discount, but I wouldn't buy it at the original price. I feel like I could get something like this at half the original price. What's special here are the mashed potato and corn muffin. The mashed potato is really good: creamy, smooth, and thick, which goes so well with the black pepper sauce. The corn muffin is unique, crispy outside and soft inside. The mac and cheese is disappointing, and I don't recommend getting it. The chicken is okay, not as juicy as I thought it would be. Nothing special in the seasoning either.

The mashed potato was not very creamy and could be eaten by poking it with a fork. The mac and cheese flavour was muted, and the cheese flavour needed to be stronger. The corn muffin was a big disappointment as it is a staple item in the restaurant. The muffin was extremely dry and lacked sufficient butteriness. It felt like it had been microwaved until the insides were no longer moist. Fortunately, the chicken skin remains a delight. The unique marination gave the skin a herby taste, savoury with textural changes in the form of black pepper and peppercorn bits on the skin. The skin was also slightly crispy yet did not feel oily.

I've always liked Kenny Rogers, as I have some sweet memories associated with it. However, this restaurant seemed a bit short-staffed (in my opinion) and the prices are high. The reason I say this is that the food is somewhat comparable to kopitiam standards, which offer the same quality food at half the price. I guess the other half of the price goes towards the environment and brand, but not the service.

Utterly disappointed. The soup was very salty, so I asked for hot water to dilute it. The service staff said they don't serve hot water. We wanted the hot water to dilute the soup, not to drink. The sides were not hot either. The macaroni cheese was not hot, and the mashed potatoes were very dry and cold with only a little sauce. The calamari was full of batter; I could barely taste the squid. The chicken was nice, though, albeit small.

I've visited several times, and the experience is consistently satisfying. The star of the menu is undoubtedly their roasted chicken – always cooked to perfection with a tender, juicy interior and a flavorful, crispy skin.
Their muffins are another highlight. Each bite is moist, with just the right amount of sweetness. Whether it’s paired with their chicken or enjoyed on its own, it’s a delightful treat.
The sides complement the meal wonderfully, from the rich, creamy mashed potatoes to the fresh, crisp coleslaw!
A special shoutout goes to the wonderful Malay lady who works there. Her super friendly and exceptional service added a personal touch during my recent visit. She’s always attentive, keeping an eye on the customers and ensuring everyone feels welcomed. Her communicative nature and dedication to her job truly enhance the dining experience.

The black pepper sauce made me a convert as it was so perfectly done with a beautiful char - I'm usually not a fan of most black pepper sauces.
Corn muffin is so fluffy and fragrant.
Coke comes with lemon garnish, which I love - without even asking.

We were feeling hungry for some Kenny Rogers food today and came to Sengkang Grand Mall. Glad that we came here today because we were treated with excellent service by Jjen! Throughout the serving of dinner, Jjen was bright and smiley and made us feel at home.
My daughter spilled Milo onto her dress, but thanks to Jjen who helped us clean the mess on her dress and the floor quickly so that we could continue with our dinner promptly.
We understand that she is working at the Clementi branch and is helping out today at the Sengkang Grand outlet. Kenny Rogers, you have got yourself a great staff!

The $9.90 weekday set is worth it and offers good value for money! Overall, I had a good dining experience here! The pasta and fries were delicious too!
